Highlights

Morning and Afternoon Tour

Set out on your guided bike tour from central Vienna and admire the world-famous Vienna State Opera house and explore within the Ringstraße Boulevard with its impressive historical and government buildings including the Austrian Parliament Building (Parliament) and Rathaus (New City Hall). See the grandeur of Hofburg Palace and bike through its grand public square, the Heldenplatz. Follow your guide past the elegant Burgtheater and ornate St Stephen’s Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna. View the Albertina, a palatial art museum Cross the bustling Karlsplatz and see magnificent St Charles’ Church (Karlskirche), visit the colorful Hundertwasserhaus building, and bike through the Wiener Prater with its monumental ferris wheel. After riding across the beautiful blue Danube River, pass the architecturally significant Austrian Postal Savings Bank (Postsparkasse) and sprawling Stadtpark with its famous statue of Johann Strauss II before finishing your 6-mile (10-km) bike ride.

Evening Tour

This tour is more about enjoying Vienna’s atmosphere rather than ticking attractions off your list. Start your guided bike ride in central Vienna and travel through the streets at a leisurely pace. As the sunset casts a gentle glow on grand old buildings, imagine how Vienna looked more than a century ago when the Habsburgs rode through the city on evening carriage rides. Continue your ride, admiring majestic Viennese monuments illuminated against the twilight sky. Conclude your 6-mile (10-km) bike tour back in central Vienna.

While each bike tour’s itinerary is different, all take you through the most beautiful parts of Vienna at a leisurely pace with plenty of photo opportunities. Expert guides show you Vienna’s best-known landmarks and answer all your questions. These bike tours allow you to cover more ground than by walking while enjoying a more intimate experience than you would have on a large coach tour.

Best way to see Vienna! - What a fantastic tour of Vienna. Our tour guide Marco was funny, informative, and shared information beyond a guide book. He also did an incredible job guiding 18 bikes through busy central Vienna. I would highly, highly recommend going on this tour.

Best part of my Vienna trip - Our tour guide, Marco, did an excellent job of orienting us to the city of Vienna and of sharing information that we wouldn’t get from a tour book. He was personable and gave everyone kind and thoughtful answers to any questions.

Biking through Vienna with Max - Max was terrific!! he took us to all the churches and the old cathedral, and gave us the background on everything! St. Michaels Square was my favorite and he gave us the background of every building. It’s truly an amazing city and this is the best way to see it because you cover so much ground. We even had a chance to stop for coffee. Totally recommend this tour and if you’re lucky enough to get Max, you’ll have a great time!!

An excellent introduction to central Vienna - This was an excellent choice for an introduction to Vienna. Our guide, Marco, was informative, interesting and engaged. He began by learning the names of each person and building the group by having us introduce ourselves to one another. At each step along the way he gave a good synopsis of the stop and offered opportunity to ask any questions about the stop. Three hours flew by.

Cycle Tour in Vienna for confidence and fun! - Cycle touring meant we were able to move around the city with confidence, covering a far greater area than possible on foot, whilst meeting others and hearing fascinating information from our friendly guide. It was superb partner to the Nazi History tour of Vienna: same locations part of the time but a different perspective. Riding through the parks to Hundertwasser Haus was a highlight.

Need a better guide - Had the most weird experience with this guide Ute on the trip. She would call different nationalities like German, British and US and then proceed to call them out about something that happened in World War II like the US bombed vienna so buildings were destroyed. Then she had an issue with Disney Seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Completely made the experience not fun. Instead of learning about the history of Austria it was trying to decipher her diatribe. Also there was no opportunity to take anything in. Next time try a walking tour you would learn more.
