Great concert - Its a great concert in beautiful palace . I enjoyed it tremendously . Highly recommend . One of the best memories from Vienna.

Beautiful Music …Beautiful Evening - A stunning evening of classical and baroque music from a very talented ensemble of musicians and operatic singers: An intimate setting filled with history - be transported to a simpler time where classical music could only be described as fine art. Highly recommended for anyone open to the spirit of Viennese music history.

Classical music in concert - This is a very vienna thing to do - enjoy classical music in a concert setting. The cost is 60 Euro and it’s a 75 min concert (string, piano, 2 opera singers) with popular pieces from Mozart Bach & Strauss that you will recognize. It’s a good way to start the evening and move on to dinner

Excellent evening of classic music - Excellent evening with classic music by excellent musicians. This 75 minute concert was entertaining and offered a small orchestra accompanied by two opera singers. A mature evenings entertainment. It just long enough and is good value for money. We enjoyed a taste of Austrian music future in a short evening, which was what we were seeking.

Pure Vienna - The music was wonderful and the singing was outstanding. Such a nice space creating a warm atmosphere for all that attended.

A highlight for us! - This was one of our highlights from our trip to Vienna. For a family that doesn't know much about classical music, it was perfect. We were approached by a man selling tickets outside of St. Stephan's church and were a little skeptical but decided to take a risk. It's a small venue so even though we sat in the very last row we felt "close up". The leader of the ensemble was great--she had a very dead-pan humor. We were pleased that there was some opera in the show as well and the opera singers had a humorous skit that gave us a chuckle. It was a nice variety of music, and the concert was not overly long. We had our 9 year old with us and he enjoyed it as well (thanks in large part to the entertaining opera singers).

Venue Not Where We Expected - My daughter chose this concert as our family's one Vienna Concert. It was chosen for the music selection, as most of the family is not into Classical Music. The tripadvisor reviews suggested the location be verified before leaving for the concert. It was a good thing we checked the location while visiting the large palace outside of the city, as we were told the concert was in town. The concert is in an upstairs room of a "Baroque Palace" in the inner city. It is mandatory to check your coat, probably due to the size of the room. The chairs are quite close to each other and the room is fairly small. The room was full the night we attended the concert. My daughter, a Music Therapist, enjoyed the music and she felt the musicians were very competant. The rest of us were a little bored by the concert and we dozed off. I am sure there are better concerts to choose from in Vienna.

Uninspired at best - choose another one. - Nice performance but uninspired and lacked energy. The ensamble we good but the the lead violinist (woman) was rigid. Did not smile, delivered her monologue without expression in Germany or English. The selection of material was fine, the classics, everything you know, which is what I wanted. But, the lack of enthusiasm was obvious and depressing. I bought the ticket outside St. Stephens church from “a guy”. He sold us VIP seats which I had to point out to the the person seating us. Not sure I really trust that process. The “concert hall” is a a bit off the beaten path. Regardless, it was ok just not what it could have been. I think of the dueling musicians in Venice which play the same music every night but “bring it”. This performance id not “bring it”. The venue is only ok.
