- Orangery - Combine two sensual destinations: exclusive culinary art and world-famous music. In a restaurant within walking distance of the Palace, you will be served a selected dinner. Afterwards, the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra will present the masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss together with international opera singers.

Great performance - Great performance and very nice atmosphere ! The orchestra and the soloists offered a really good trip through some of Mozart and Strauss best.

Great concert experience - Great place for a concert. We didin´t know they were celebrating a special ocasion - The 9000 concert night. I think we would have loved to know ahead.

Beautiful concert BUT 3 Course meal needs major improvement. - The concert was beautiful and the acoustics amazing. For a performance hall of this caliber the seat layout needs improvement to allow all to see the concert and what they paid for. Chances are very high that someone short or medium height, will have a very tall person sitting in front and completely blocking their view. The 3 course meal was a total letdown in service, quality of the food and delay in serving the food. We got to the restaurant at least 1.5 hours before the performance and had to rush through our meal because the kitchen was obviously backed up and short staffed. Drink selection was sub par.

Great dinner, entertaining performances - Dinner of beef roast was good, the performances after were also great. A mix of a big ensemble concert and opera performances. Too bad we did this the first night we arrived from a 20 hour flight from another time zone, so we were falling asleep during the performance. The lag between dinner and performance was also kind of big (630pm vs 830pm). Recommend you do this only after you’ve already adjusted from your trip if coming from a long journey.

Great performance and food. The ambience is not as advertised though - Amazing performance and the dinner was great. While the performance did not happen in schonbrunn itself, four star for the event. I was hoping to get a glimpse of schonbrunn, but disappointed.

Good but needs more details on how to get to the place - I love the clasic music that is why I have purchased the VIP tickets to celebrate my birthday in VIENNA with a live concert and dinner. Do not get me wrong the food was great, the concert place beautiful is just that the information to get to the place is so poor and then there is not assigned seats on VIP and they charge you to keep your jacket. So nice experience just need a little bit of more details when it comes to how the package and arrival.works.

Poor restaurant experience - The concert was very enjoyable but the dinner beforehand was not a very satisfactory experience. The restaurant that we were allocated was Joseph II as the other one (Tafelspitz) was not available when we booked. The restaurant severely lacks atmosphere and we had the impression that it might be used as an overflow for people who could not be accommodated in the main restaurant. It was almost empty on the evening in question. We arrived a little before 6.30pm, having first gone to the ticket office to collect our tickets. Nonetheless we were pressurised to finish our dinner as quickly as possible, apparently because the chef wanted to go home, and each course arrived within a couple of minutes of the preceding one.
On the basis of this experience we would not recommend the concert plus dinner option; it would be better to eat in the city centre and come just to the concert.

Not worth the money - Poor value for money… 2 sessions of about half an hour each with poor acoustics not worth the cost… left feeling we were tourist fodder
