New experience about Mozart - Very impressive. Gave additional view / dimension on Mozart by feeling the music not only with ears, but eyes etc.. But the visitor should enjoy the time in each of the room from the beginning till the end to get full scope of the feelings. In our case group participants quit the room and started the new session faster, that disturbed our experience. Therefore suggestion - do not take this experience in the rush or when you are tired...

Magical Mozart experience - The building this venue is in stands on the grounds where Mozart composed the Magic Flute and the Requiem, and where he actually died. The original house was destroyed. A very moving experience for any Mozart fan, each room holds a different kind of musical encounter, beginning with Mozart’s death. For a complete immersive experience, I really wished the projections to be on the ceiling as well, not just on the walls, and floor sometimes. Staff was very nice, credit cards accepted.

Super cool experience! - Very cool! Super experience, very well done. I'll definitely watch it a second time. I also like that there are fixed time slots and no "open doors". So you can look at each room in peace without too much hustle and bustle. One should not hope for historical details, but in my opinion this is not missing. Just enjoy the visual impression! I can highly recommend it.

Visually stunning and immersive - I stumbled across this on a hot afternoon. So glad I did. You would need to know about Mozart beforehand to have context, as the whole thing is wordless. The multimedia was stunning and some of it gave me goosebumps.

Astonishing - We discovered this on the internet by accident. Shame that has no bigger advertising! Absolutely amazing! Enjoy all the senses during the tour!

Mozart's story told in an interactive way - Been here 2 days ago, Monday April 18th 2023. I only had 2 full days in Vienna and I bought the Vienna Pass so I wanted to check as many attractions as possible. Its format is different from usual attractions, it has only 5-6 rooms each telling different stories about Mozart's life. I really liked the 3D effect in some of the rooms, where the videos are played on the walls or even the floor. Pro tip: Do not get in without an audio guide. I usually don't take advantage of the audio guides at attractions because its making the visit much longer and I usually don't have the time but at Mythos Mozart, the time in each room is standard anyway so you cannot rush through it even if you wanted to and the audio guide makes the experience much better. I visited towards the end of the day, arriving at ~18:15 I had to wait 15 minutes until the next entry started. That time passed quick while I left my bag & jacket in the storage, went to the bathroom & checked my phone shortly. We were only 2 people there which was great for the experience. In each room there's either a couch, a bench or chairs for you to sit on and that was a pleasant break for my legs, being on my feet all day since 7AM. Totally recommend it if you get the Vienna pass and have like 45 minutes in your schedule, if you are a bit tired and want to rest while also seeing something. Without the pass, the individual price might seem a bit much.

Amazing - The sound mixed with the lights and the photos made you feel like you are part of the five amazing rooms.

A touch disappointed - In a city full of quality historical experiences, this just landed a bit flat. The effort to bring a historic figure into the modern age is worthy but, I can’t say I learned anything nor was I entertained.

An opportunity lost ! Technology wasted, an expensive trip. - This is a show about Mozart's life and times. Time bound entry required. The first item is you being technologically photo morphed in period costume… very interesting to see but too brief for you to find and appreciate the visual on the wall as you have to find yourself among all the group members who also had their pics taken!! Then the group enters a series of rooms, one at a time, as a group. The first room with a zillion candles (electric) and a story of Mozart’s birth… images all out of focus or very small. There are four screens which do not project the same image simultaneously. So, one’s attention is diverted trying to see where to focus and to appreciate the music. The second room is rectangular where village scenes, and then suddenly animals, are projected onto each wall. Colourful but what relevance do giraffes and elephants have for that period ? The next room is where you sit and watch the screen where different instruments from across the world are used to play a Mozart piece. Interesting, relevant and informative – however, the screen is often broken into 18 smaller screens whereby the attention is again divided up and lost. Sometimes you have a large visual like that of the table and the jew’s harp player. The fourth room is full of lights hanging from the ceiling and changing rapidly. The next room is where a visual is projected from ceiling to floor – all sides. – coloured pages, music sheets, and many record covers issued of Mozart’s works. You exit via a shop selling lots of different merchandise branded with the show’s name. Frankly, if the organizers had seen the museum of Mozart’s home where he was born, they would have got brilliant ideas on how to use photographs, facts and technology. The current show is an attempt to blitz you with technology and where Mozart has got left behind. I was disappointed and feel its best avoided as tech razzmatazz can be seen anywhere.
