Capuchin Church is centrally located near the State Opera in Vienna’s city centre and is known for the Imperial Crypt, which served as the Habsburg burial site for centuries. Its modest interior is also its major asset - visitors are fascinated by the wooden furnishings.

The Christmas concerts in the heated church span a majestic arc of festive trumpet music, selected texts and the finest Christmas carols - what a wonderful way to prepare for the approaching Christmas in a contemplative and joyful way.

This was wonderful! - One of the best outings we did while in Vienna. It is not a massive venue, but the quality was excellent and had a very intimate feel. We will definitely do this again if we ever get back to Vienna. Thank you for an excellent experience.

wonderful - It was a very contemplative and beautiful evening, fitting for the pre-Christmas period, as was the setting, the church. If there are concerts like this planned again next year, we will definitely be there. Best wishes Georg Griensteidl

Excellent concert in a beautiful setting - This is a wonderful way to celebrate prior to Christmas. The musicians were outstanding, the vocalist sublime, and the church itself beautiful. The audience was welcomed to the evening by a brief advent statement. The choice of music was beautiful. The acoustics are great. It was a superb blend of classical and contemporary Christmas music pieces. With so many concerts to choose from in Vienna this is one very worth attending.

A very nice, varied concert experience - Entertaining, varied program. It would have been nice if the musicians had been introduced. The lyrics were appropriate and were performed very well.

Atmospheric Advent concert in a beautiful setting - A lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit with traditional Christmas songs accompanied by lovely Christmas stories. - In my opinion, the opera voice wasn't suitable for all of the songs.

Disappointing - Instead of the announced Vienna Kaiser Quartet, whose reputation and many years of experience were used to advertise this concert of a little night music (duration approx. 60 minutes), four young, inexperienced graduates played for 50 minutes at a price of €35 per person. You feel a bit ripped off. €15 might have been appropriate for the concert. Disappointing!
