They Earned Those 5 Stars! - Whale watching can be a life changing experience when done with the right company, and I had an incredible experience in Victoria with Five Star Whale Watching. The captains and naturalists were very knowledgeable and professional, and clearly had a deep respect and passion for their work. I was lucky enough to have Gordon and Mika on the Sailish Shadow, and they kept everything very comfortable and relaxed on the boat while teaching us all about whales and Victoria. It was a really unique way of seeing the city and hearing the perspectives of people who live here. We saw a pod of Bigg's Killer Whales which was always a lifelong dream of mine and it was everything I'd hoped for. Having done whale watching in several other places, Five Star Whale Watching is thusfar my best experience! I can't recommend it enough!

Brilliant exciting trip despite wet start turned out to be one of the best - Seeing several pods of killer whales was very exciting. Skills of crew to get us in a good place was impressive. Thought to be around 30 Orcas in this area on our trip

Cool Orca sighting and fun facts - This was an awesome tour and and I felt very save even so we had a bit of wind and waves. The crew, and especialy Mika, told us everything about the animals we might see e.g., food choices of the different orcas and where we might see them and why. We also got cool fub facts about the different islands where we searched for animals ( in the end we saw sea lions, seals, dolphins, a huge group of orcas and in the port i spotted some see otters in the end). I can only recommend this tour/team, it was awesome! Best wishes fro Germany, Katharina

Whale worth it! - The staff were great! Friendly and informative. The tour delivered on its promise: we saw whales and sea lions. The boat was comfortable and provided enough mobility to move from bow to stern to view the Sound’s scenic beauty and wildlife.

Price-performance ratio was not right - A nice crew that led and accompanied us. The advertisement says from 0-99. It would be advantageous if it was stated that children are not allowed on the upper deck. We went out on the boat for 1.5 hours, were able to see a whale from a distance for about 3 minutes and then had to go back because it was getting late. Luckily we had good weather. So we could at least enjoy the boat tour. Whether you see whales or not is a matter of luck. They were very sparse and brief. So we had a very expensive boat trip. The price-performance ratio was not right for us.
