Couldn't have been happier! - Hubby and I wanted to go whale watching for our 60th/62nd birthdays. We chose Orca Spirit for the Zodiac 3-hour tour and couldn't have been happier! We got to sit in the front, bounciest seat; not only saw an orca but sea lions, seals, an otter, rhinoceros auklets and cormorants as well as a juvenile bald eagle! Our captain, Mick, was knowledgeable, experience, funny and kind. He was able to spend time showing us the sights and teaching us about T11A; aka Rainy; the orca we saw. The day was overcast but we had a great time. We would definitely do it again.

A Fabulous Trip - What a fabulous trip. It started with meeting our captain and all the safety briefings which are necessary but he made fun. He had an immense amount of knowledge about seals, whales, birds and was keen to share it - which made it all the more interesting. Take layers - it's chilly out there on the water - but well worth it - highly recommended.

Great whale watching trip from Victoria! - We had a great trip with Orca Spirit. The rib boat was comfortable, and felt safe, and we were given plenty of information by our captain. We were lucky to see about 3 or 4 different humpback whales, including a mother and calf, and one whale quite close to our boat. Prior to the trip we were contacted by Orca Spirit to change the time of our booking - they were very helpful with this, and quick to respond to phone calls and emails.

A wonderful experience - This was a wonderful opportunity to see orcas and whales in the wild. We were amazed at the number of different animals we saw and were lucky to have perfect weather. The skipper was very respectful of the whales. To see such beautiful animals behaving in the wild is a privilege inspiring us to do our bit for conservation.

Way to expensive!!!! - Overall it wasn't bad. They put us on whales in a short boat ride out. Was it worth $336? NO. They did say $4 of the tickets go towards whale research. A whole $4!!!! I understand there is a cost to staff and boat but come on. Would I recommend it? Probably not.
