After meeting your driver and guide, you will make your way to the downtown core near Victoria’s inner harbour.\n\nVisit the Royal British Columbia Museum, which features artifacts, galleries, and collections of British Columbia’s natural, modern and human history. Afterwards, stop at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, one of Victoria’s oldest and most famous hotels. With turn of the century chateau-style architecture, the hotel is located on Government Street facing the Inner Harbour.\n\nOther stops along your tour include Chinatown and Craigdarroch Castle. Victoria is home to the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the second oldest in North America. Listen to your guide as he brings the history and culture of this neighborhood to life. Then make a quick stop at Craigdarroch Castle, a Victorian-era Scottish Baronial mansion established in 1890 as a residence for wealthy coal baron Robert Dunsmuir and his family.\n\nNext, enjoy a leisurely walk in the same gardens as the Queen on your visit to Government House, the home to Royalty during their visits. You’ll then venture through the neighborhoods of Oak Bay and finish your tour with a scenic journey on Marine Drive, past beautiful Beacon Hill Park.\n\nYour journey ends with a guided tour of Craigdarroch Castle. This Victoria-era Scottish Baronial mansion is one of Victoria’s oldest and most beloved landmarks. The tour will walk through the 25,000 square foot, 30 roomed historic stately home, and display the authentic lavish furnishings from the 1890s, and world-renowned stained-glass windows and intricate woodworkings.

During this 3-hour journey, you’ll be exposed to the breathtaking views and landscapes of Victoria, as well as the central downtown area near the city’s inner harbour. Accompany your local guide as you discover historical monuments. The Royal BC Museum, Fairmont Empress Hotel, Chinatown, Victoria’s Heritage Mansions, and an array of shops, along with a conducted tour of Craigdarroch Castle are the highlights.
Please note, the entrance fee for the castle is NOT covered in the tour’s cost. This tour only includes the exterior of the castle. Visitors keen on exploring the castle from inside can procure tickets on location. Due to potential local traffic disruptions in this residential area, visitors MIGHT need to traverse two blocks from Fort Street to reach the castle.

Amazing tour and even better tour guide! - This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable a out Victoria’s history and made this one of the best tours we’ve been on in a very long time. I would recommend this tour to all my family and friends.

A million stars! Would definitely do this tour and use this company again!!!! - I sent my parents and my mother in law on this trip! Sean could not have been nicer to them! They loved all his stories and info he shared! He got them to see the gardens and the castle on their ship stop aboard the Majestic Princess. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and the operator!!!! A million thank yous!

Tour Victoria at Night with Irish Pub - We did not arrive in port until about 8 and had to leave by 11. We found Sean at the end of the dock and he convinced us his was the tour to take. We are so happy that we did. Most everything was closed but he took us to see the highlights and shared a ton of knowledge about the area and history. We asked him if he could maybe drop us off at a good bar with poutine. He took us to Irish Times, a wonderful Irish pub. He even joined us when we asked. We had great beer and poutine then went back to the ship. Sean was great and we had a great time.

Slow Start - We had the tour booked for 10:30 but no one was there for us. After contacting the owner we were made aware our driver was having problems with the vehicle. We were able to still take the tour an hour and a half later. Our guide was awesome and very apologetic. Things happen but we made the best of it.
