Highly Recommended! - Went on this tour today, hosted by Bruce. We were a small group of 6 and covered quite a distance over the 2.5 hours, although the pace was steady and proved no issues for anyone. Bruce discussed a wide range of subjects - how Victoria was founded, First Nations carvings, architecture to name just a few! He was very informative and answered all our questions, also providing suggestions for restaurants and bars. Highly recommended, a great introduction to this lovely city!

Very knowledgeable and pleasant tour! - In over 2,5 hours walk with Sarah we learned a lot about the history of Victoria, facts about important parts of it like the Harbour, the Legislation, the Empress Hotel and the history and culture (Totem Poles) of the indigenous peoples. Sarah build the tour in form of a quiz which was a lot of fun for the group. The walk and the break were very pleasant and I highly recommend the waking tour with Sarah! It was a memorable experience. Thank you Sarah and Toonie Tours!

Fun and Informative Walk! - Our tour guide, Sarah, was very friendly, fun and informative! At the the start, she asked about our interests/hobbies and then connected those with points of interest on our walk through Victoria. We (family with daughters age 11 and 13 yrs) had a great time!!

Family friendly - great way to kick off Victoria trip! - Did this tour our first morning in Victoria- family of 5 with three kids aged 15,12, & 7. All three enjoyed it. It helped them seem some options that we could explore on our own. The tour guide Sarah was great with the group - from the kids to the adults.

Stories by Sarah - Sarah our guide was fantastic! She was great at finding connections with the very diverse group that we had, which made it so much for fun, particularly when travelling solo and not knowing anyone else in the group. Sarah's knowledge was exceptional and she was constantly challenging us to find connections between events of the past and was able to bring them into the present. She was able to entwine stories from the past and shared some very dark and juicy secrets. Sarah has a very deep knowledge and understanding. She is engaging, funny and very passionate about Victoria. Do the tour early in your travels so that you can visit/revisit those places that spark your interest!

Good tour, but poor booking experience. - Actual tour was good, but booking / organization not great. Despite booking via TripAdvisor, our name wasn't on the list, luckily the tour guide was accommodating and let us join in anyway.

"Free" Victoria, BC walking tour - 2.5 hr. walking tour. The guide was excellent. The chosen sites mediocre. ... Tried submitting. Site states they require a minimum of 100 characters. That should do it.
