Our excursion begins at a characteristically Victoria donut store, Empire Donuts, located at the heart of the city. Empire is celebrated for its distinctive donuts served in a cosmic 50s diner-themed environment. We’ll then make a brief journey to a highly-regarded coffee and donut location in Victoria, passing by some of the top-rated dining places (as per our guides!) en route. Once we’ve enjoyed our coffee, we’ll proceed down Government Street, enjoying the sights of the inner harbor which encompasses the Empress Hotel and the Parliament buildings. As we thread our way back to the heart of the city, we’ll ultimately hit our third donut destination, a charming locally-owned outlet for delightful donuts. Ultimately, we’ll head towards Chinatown and conclude at Friend and Family Bake in Fantan Alley. This bakery boasts an array of Filipino delicacies, including donuts, and if luck is on our side, we might catch these yummy delights being freshly baked.
