Insanely cute day - This was an insanely good experience. Our guide was fantastic, so funny, informative and attentive. The whole day is good,, we thoroughly enjoyed the sanctuary and you get to see lots of wild wallabies but obviously the main attraction is the penguins which is just so so cute watching them waddle themselves from the sea up the beach and down the pathways. Book this, you will not regret it at all! Couple from England

Loved the Penguins - I would give this tour a 5, but the bus we rode on was just way too cramped. I am not tall and my legs were jamming into the seat in front of me. Otherwise, the tour was perfect. My wife loved petting the koala ($30 extra, but well worth it) and we enjoyed feeding the kangaroos. The stops were spaced out pretty well and they were all worthwhile. The highlight was the penguin parade and it was much better than I expected. Watching them come up the beach in small groups was nice, but the highlight is watching them up close from the boardwalk as they interact with each other to find their mate and nesting burrow. The drive back to Melbourne at the end takes about 2.5 hours. We went in late April and got back around 9:30 pm. Our guide, Rhys, had a great, dry, sense of humor and provided good informative dialogue along the trip. We really enjoyed him as a guide. Overall, the trip hits some great sights and the animal activities were very fun. Highly recommend.
