Top experience - Top experience. Super sweet people. You can get started yourself and then you can sit down at the table to taste everything. Everything is artisanal. Highly recommended.

A taste of Paradise! - Forget Capri and Sorrento. Mozzarellamaking at Caseficio Starace in Vico Equense gives a unike and authentic experience no one should miss. The Starace couple share an enthusiastic knowledge of their skill and make you enjoy every minute from entering their factory to tasting a generous plate of cheeses, meat with bread and wine.

Flavours and tradition of Vico Equense - We lived a unique and unforgettable experience. Antonio, Maestro Casaro made us put our hands in dough, in addition to seeing the transformation of rennet into excellent products we made with our hands morsels, mozzatura and braids. The expert hands and passion for craftsmanship and tradition of Antonio and his family are the main ingredients of their excellent product. Excellent tasting in the garden, under a pergola , prepared by Angela with their products... Experience highly recommended for young and old.

Once in a lifetime experience - so happy 😊 - This was the most gorgeous experience for mum, dad and four teen/adult children. So welcoming and fascinating for all. You never get to see things like this in the UK and I am so glad we had the chance to experience exactly what is involved - all the care, love and passion that goes into the sixth generation fior de latte makers. And it was totally delicious. Antonio made it fun and engaged us all. I would highly recommend. I think families with younger children would absolutely love it too!

Unique and fun experience - Searched where to go in the morning and this exerience seemed like a fun thing to do. Booked it and had only an hour to get there. Started the walk from Vico Equense and what a climb! We're in good shape, but the heat and the steep climb took a toll. Resting couple of times on the way, we managed the climb. Great view half way up. The place is gorgeus and the owners are very friendly. Walked around their garden before the thing started. We were lucky to be the only ones there this time. They showed how fiore di latte (mozzarella) was made and all other kind of cheese. Got to make some our selves. Was joyful and ineresting. Afterwards sat in the garden and ate different kind of cheese, some ham and wine. Bought some along too. All this was well worth the climb 😄. Would do it again any time. The family is great.

Go there. - We went to the family dairy to buy the caciocavallo del Monaco. The product is really special and delicious but I want to talk about more. We were greeted with smiles by Antonio who spoke passionately about his products. A palpable and contagious passion that those who live in the city unfortunately no longer know. The small farm is surrounded by a huge vegetable garden, full of flowers, vegetables, fruit trees that get you drunk on perfumes. In such a place and with such a light could also be exquisite sawdust. We also met Antonio’s parents proudly representing members of a peasant civilization that the big food distribution chains, aime’, are destroying. Hold on, Antonio. Paolo and Stefania from Rimini

UNIQUE experience! - Luckily I came across, through social, this beautiful dairy wrapped in passion, family, kindness, integrity and the scent of the sea, which despite being in the hills, gets up there... I wanted to give this experience to my better half who loves every kind of cheese, I could not choose better .. the products are quality and prepared without affecting or modifying the old methods of their tradition, in a nutshell, if you want to taste intense flavors, unique and genuine, then they welcomed us with kindness and made you feel at home, you have to come and visit the cheese factory storace, of course ❤️🇮🇹

Great activity for a family - What a fantastic activity to do with the family. We decided to do this activity on a rainy day and we are so glad we went for it. Our boys (6 and 3) loved it, and so did we! The class was fun and informative and the food was delicious. Highly recommended. Only thing to say is that you better have a car to get to it, as it wasn’t easy at all to get there. But once there it was absolutely worth it.

The best original food experience on the coast. - I bought this for my partners birthday. We spend a lot of time in italy so pizza schools etc.. are a bit...no thanks. Living part time in campagnia we have always been curious how mozarella is made and this answered ALL our questions. Antonio and Angela were great. Full of information on the process and family history ( 6 generations of cheesemaking in the same spot. ) hard hard work every day, 8 days a week for a small business! We had great fun making terribly shaped mozarella and seeing the master at work. He made it look so easy. Then sitting out on the terrace amongst their vegetable and fruit crops, a lovely platter of their own cheeses and meats with their own wine. ( makes you want to move there...to much U tube!) We bought some fantastic home made limoncello in their shop ( which was constantly full of locals so you know it's good!) We will be bringing any visitors we have here in the future. A fantastic day! A tip, don't believe Google. Avoid going up the little road past the church. Bring a map up and pick the bigger road. The one google send you in is a goat track and there's a perfectly good road to their door!
