Great boat tour! - Took a 1 hour Ribsafari tour recently. We had booked a two hour tour but the weather would not cooperate and we could only do a one hour tour. The tour was excellent! Our guide showed us around the island and explained about the local animals, land and traditional customs. Our tour guide was fantastic and was able to answer all of our questions. Although we did see some of the island when we arrived by ferry, this tour gave us a much closer look at the island and our guide pointed out countless features that we would have never known about had we not done this tour. Even though it was a cold day we felt very warm in the jumpsuits that they provided for us. You may wish to bring gloves with you to keep your hands warm. Immediately following our trip the jumpsuits went straight into a washing machine in order to keep them hygienic. My only disappointment was that we could not do the two hour tour as planned. This is of NO fault of the tour operator, just Mother Nature. This is an absolute must if you enjoy boat tours and can handle the bumpy trip of a rib boat.

Very informative and would stop at certain points to share some very interesting facts and history about the different formations seen. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!

Outstanding and highly recommended - This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland! Thor and Patrick were amazing. They were engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. The boat is a lot of fun – you get to go really fast and they play music between the different islands. It really covers a lot of ground and we could tell how much they love their island. Highly recommended!

Great way to see the island - I was on the island for a three-day conference. The librarian, Kari, arranged for our group to go on this boat tour. It was very entertaining. The guide told several funny stories and knew the history of the area. It was a cold, windy day but at least it wasn’t raining. The crew was careful to ensure each passenger was wearing a life vest.
