- Palace of Versailles - Walk in the footsteps of former kings and queens of France on a guided, 2-hour tour of the Palace of Versailles. Meet your guide and your small-sized group in central Versailles, a short trip outside of Paris, and beat the long entrance queues at the palace with skip-the-line access.
Wander through many of the hundreds of lavishly decorated rooms including the Hall of Mirrors, Royal Apartments, Apollo Room, Coronation Room and Royal Chapel. As you explore, listen to tales of royal intrigue and learn about the history behind the UNESCO World Heritage–listed palace. After the Palace tour, emerge back into the sunlight for a guided stroll through the stunningly elaborate Versailles Gardens, comprising more than 1,800 acres of artfully manicured flower beds, hedge art, fountains and statuary.
With an optional upgrade, witness the fountains come to life during a spectacular water show, or visit on a Tuesday to enjoy the sounds of classical music cascading through the gardens.

Your expedition incorporates a tour to the globally-renowned Versailles Gardens. On specific days, witness the stunning fountain display synchronized with music, or relish a walk through the gardens accompanied by the echoes of classical music during the Musical Gardens event
- Please note that the rest of your group is coming from Paris, we kindly ask you to wait at the meeting point until your guide arrives.
- If option selected, you’ll have the opportunity to freely explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the musical show inside the gardens of Versailles. Please be aware that guided visits inside the gardens is not included
- Entry to the gardens is free of charge from November to March, and no ticket is required during this period. However, from April to October, a ticket is necessary to visit the gardens. Your City Wonders representative will provide you with your ticket on the day of the tour (if option selected).

Equestrian statue of Louis XIV
Meet our team, dressed in blue attire, by the statue of Louis XIV (the bronze horseman statue in the Place d’Armes, the square in front of the palace). This statue is currently undergoing renovation.

Informative Tour - This was my first time in Versailles Palace and our guide was super well informed. We were given these small radios and a earbud (and I mean one singular earbud which I never knew existed) so we could hear our guide perfectly clear because she had a microphone so even if you were in the back of the group, you can still hear everything she said

Fabulous Tour of Versailles with Knowledgeable wonderful Tour guide - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Versailles. She was able to guide the group of 22 people around expertly. She had stories to tell about everything we saw and had studied art history specifically about Versailles and French history of the Kings. I would recommend this tour with her to anyone.

Summer was a great guide!! - We were very fortunate to have Summer as a guide again and she was fantastic, deep insights into French life of peasants and aristocracy back in the day. Her extreme knowledge of art history subject matter was astounding. Best guide we’ve had!!!

Perfect way to see Versaille - I thought the tour of Versailles was great. It was Easter and very busy, however our group of about 25 managed the crowds easily with the guidance of the tour guide. She as very interesting and engaging throughout the whole tour- even gave us hints to be careful of pickpocketers. No need to go on a small private tour, it is always crowded so this one is fine. We did our own transportation and ate at the cute little places within walking distance.

Palace tour - The palace as expected was extravagant The guide was not quick to provide headsets waited until we were in a crowded room in the palace. Lost 45 minutes of communications time did not like to respond to questions
