Meet us at the statue of Louis XIV on horseback located on the esplanade directly in front of the Palace of Versailles. Do not pass the security check!
Our coordinator will come to the statue to meet you with the guests arriving from Paris, they will be wearing an orange cap and an orange badge.

Versailles is fantastic - Lots of walking, the grounds are huge and you cover a lot of ground quickly to get to the scheduled time to enter the palace. Our guide should have attached her microphone closer to her mouth as she has a very strong French accent and is soft spoken. The grounds are incredibly well maintained and the palace worth seeing. If Jeanine had spoken louder or held the microphone to her mouth so I and my friends could hear; it would have been perfect.

Highly recommend doing the guided tour. - Booked the half day guided tour with Matt.
Great information presented in an enjoyable way.
Made sure everyone was present and didn’t miss anything. Answered everyone’s questions with great knowledge.
Very enjoyable day. When it was over we all thought we could have easily booked the full day tour to see even more. But the half day gave you a good understanding with all the best highlights leaving us feeling very satisfied.

Amazing tour!! Great guide. - Our half-day tour of Versailles was amazing! Amazing tour guide. - Husband and I booked this experience for our 10th anniversary trip. We both love history and our guide did not disappoint. She not only was extremely knowledgeable about Versailles, but she also was extremely enthusiastic and you could tell she loved her job. She included little details that would’ve been missed on other tours. Highly recommend. This also was the perfect length. We did the morning tour so that we’d have the afternoon to wander around the gardens by ourselves and walk down to grand/petit trianon and Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet. There are audio guides for the other two palaces, which was also an amazing experience.

Historically magical experience - Karen was a great guide and was very thorough in her explanation of the palace and the gardens of Versailles. It was such a fun tour even with cool rainy weather. I highly recommend this experience through French history.

Super to have the historical aspect as you travel through Versailles. - This very informative tour gave the background of not only Versailles, but also the revolution. Our guide was very informative, carried a deep knowledge of the palace, and some historical anecdotes that put the history into context. Instead of just marching through each room wondering what we were looking at, our guide shared details of the rooms, paintings, what they were used for and the significance of each. Was a wonderful tour and a great value.

Versailles Palace is amazing - We were very fortunate to have Adebayo Adeniyi as our tour guide. He has great knowledge and a very relatable way to teach us the amazing history of this palace.
I would definitely recommend taking the RER-C train from Paris to Versailles. It took about half an hour and cost only €5 for the round trip!

Not recommended - The tour guide was not punctual. He left the group waiting under the rain for 30 minutes before collecting the group. This not only left us soaking in water but reduced the time of the excursion by the same 30min. Considering that the whole excursion was supposed to be only 3 hours, it cut a considerable chunk of time. In addition, the excursion was cut off short by about 15 minutes. The actual guadance was not well presented either.
I would not suggest this tour.
