Gracious Host! - Gracious, incredible host (I believe her name was Elaina). We risked showing up over an hour after our reservation… and we risked bringing our 1 year old! We really, really lucked out. Not only was our wine tasting host gracious to let us do our late, she was very, very sweet about our 1 year old’s occasional outbursts. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t recommend bringing a 1-yr old to a wine tasting, but it worked out for us. I had him in a carrier so he couldn’t wander around smashing bottles. We bought a couple of bottles before we left. It was a short and sweet tour, with some cheese, meats and crackers. 5/5 experience.

Delicioso & Belisimo - The shop owner was very knowledgeable and engaging providing the wine processing and complexity of flavors. He made purchasing and shipping painless. I strongly recommend this for anyone interested in wine from novice to expert.

Customized Amarone Wine Tour - We just completed our 4th Verona wine tour with Virginia of Romeo & Juliet Guide. She put together a “customized” 3 winery tour with lunch and an “overlook” stop with breathtaking views of the Valpolicella area for our group of 10 people The tour was very well organized and everyone had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience. We tasted many great DOC, DOCG, ITG wines and had a delicious lunch with homemade sausage and lasagna. My wife and I personally ordered 6 cases of our favorite wines for shipment back to the USA which Virginia will handle all the logistics. We could do these tours over and over again, the Valpolicella area is such a beautiful place not to mention the superior wine. Virginia is an excellent and very experienced guide, she is highly knowledgeable of the local Verona area wines, Italian wines in general and the city of Verona and the surrounding area. I highly recommend Virginia and Romeo & Juliet Guide for a fantastic Verona wine tasting experience!

Experience highly recommended! - Wine tasting highly recommended, the owner is nice, affable and expert, he immediately put us at ease and guided us through the experience. Delicious and peculiar wines of the area, combined with snacks that amplify their flavors. Central and convenient location.

Private tasting in compact shop with lovely guide - The wine of the region is outstanding! This tasting is made special by Elaina, our guide. She was engaging and open to all our questions about the wine and about Verona. We ran into her when we were trying out her gelato recommendation and she was lovely and kind. The tasting is a no-pressure presentation of wines from the area and was a nice sampler in a beautiful, if very compact, wine shop. Recommended!

FOR $40 pp. , clients deserve better - The host should NOT Be waiting on other customers during a wine tasting. I never had this happen before. The owner should be ashamed to put the employee in this position. EITHER close the shop to host wine tastings OR don't do it. VIATOR should warn their customers what to expect. I was SO embarrassed that I took my friends here!
