Amazing afternoon wine tasting in Verona - The afternoon Amarone wine tour at a single winery in Verona was a superb experience, and truly one to recommend. The event began with a warm welcome and an engaging walk through the estate, where our guide introduced the unique traditions and techniques behind Verona’s celebrated wines. Tasting started with several excellent local wines—ranging from crisp whites and vibrant reds typical of the region’s Valpolicella heritage. Each pour was accompanied by stories about the land, grapes, and winemaking craft, and was thoughtfully paired with local cheeses, meats, and breads. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere allowed us to learn, savor, and ask plenty of questions. The final tasting was the unforgettable Amarone, the star of the show—rich, aromatic, and layered, and a fitting way to end the afternoon. The overall value was fantastic: high quality wines, passionate hospitality, and genuine insight into the region’s traditions. This tour is highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable, authentic, and great-value wine experience in Verona.

Such A Great Experience! - Even though we made a mistake and missed our bus to the winery and did not get there in time for the tour, we still very much enjoyed the tasting! The setting was beautiful and the cheeses, jams, meats, and bread were all delicious. Although we knowingly booked the tour in Italian (we did not see an option for English and decided we didn't mind working on our Italian), our tasting guide was kind enough to also do the explanations in English. The wines were amazing and we hope to come back to experience the tour in addition to the tasting.

Beautiful Wine and Beautiful Winery! - My husband and I had a great time on this tour and it was so peaceful being above the city drinking wine. The staff even prepared us an amazing vegan snack that we LOVED! After the tasting we got to explore the winery and the beautiful landscape, which made it even more special! Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Good tour, better wine. - Winery and hotel grounds were lovely. My 2 year old tried to help the guide, but they took his spirit in stride. Wine was surprisingly good. Would consider staying at the hotel if our family plans were aligned.

Gorgeous views and delicious wine - This was a great wine tasting in a fantastic location! The educational component was more intense than other tours I've taken, which I really appreciated. It's a small winery that takes great pride in their production process. Very interesting. Our guide did a great job. But, of course, the best part is tasting it! You will get generous pours of delicious wine, paired with a gourmet charcuterie board. We ate so much we skipped dinner that night. You will have time to linger outside afterwards if you like, to admire the panoramic view of Verona or drink even more wine (which is very affordable by the glass or bottle). We enjoyed watching the sunset and chatting with other wine lovers. It's located in a restaurant, so you can stay for dinner, too. Highly recommend this tour!!

5 stars – A Very Special Wine Tasting Experience with Stunning Views - This was a truly special experience that I’ll never forget. The Corte San Mattia wine tasting was personal, peaceful, and beautifully curated. I happened to be the only person on the tour that day, which made it feel even more exclusive and intimate. The estate is absolutely beautiful – perched on a hill with panoramic views over Verona. It's not just a winery, but also a working farm, restaurant, and guesthouse, making it a perfect retreat for those interested in agritourism or sustainable travel. My guide, Magdelina, was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She explained each wine in detail and told me exactly which food to pair with each one. The pairings were thoughtful and elevated the tasting experience — the wines were high-quality, and the food was both generous and delicious. Magdelina also kindly took many great photos of me throughout the tour, which was a lovely bonus. I also took time to explore the estate afterward and found a beautiful panoramic pool — the views were absolutely stunning, and the warm weather made it feel like a little slice of paradise. One important note: there are no hotel pickups, so you’ll need to arrange your own transport. I took a taxi from Verona which cost around €30 each way. Something to keep in mind — but honestly, it was more than worth it. Highly recommended for wine lovers, foodies, or anyone wanting to enjoy an authentic, scenic, and relaxing experience just outside Verona

Disorganized Wine Tasting and Misleading Details - We had a booking for this wine tasting, but the experience was extremely disappointing and poorly organized from start to finish. The directions provided in the app led us to the wrong location, requiring a 45-minute walk from our hotel. We arrived five minutes early, only to learn we were at the incorrect address. After navigating through a different section of the app, we found the correct location and arrived about 15 minutes after the tasting had started. When we arrived, the event was hosted at a hotel with a long line of people, which caused additional delays. By the time we checked in, we were told the group had already gone to the vineyard—something that was never communicated in advance. We were eventually seated at a table, but no one acknowledged or spoke to us for approximately 45 minutes. At that point, there were only about 30 minutes left in the entire experience. The tasting was advertised as being conducted in English, yet multiple times the host spoke in another language, making it difficult to follow or understand. Additionally, the experience was marketed as “panoramic,” but it was dark outside, so there was no view. Even if it had been light out, the view itself was minimal and did not match the description. Overall, the lack of clear directions, poor communication, misleading advertising, and general disorganization made this a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, it was not worth the time or cost.
