Truly unique experience.... - Truly unique experience. My friends and I had never been to an Opera before and this was the perfect introduction. At first, we thought we should have looked up the plot of the story before going but we didn't. Instead, we discussed what each of us thought happened afterward, then looked it up.

Opera in Venice - I’ve always loved to hear opera music, but was never too excited about sitting through a 2 1/2 hour opera. I must say this was an excellent experience! I was very pleasantly surprised! It was very entertaining, engaging, and the chorus and musicians did an excellent job!!! This was a small venue with no large crowds to deal with and a very personalized experience! I would highly recommend this opera to all my friends staying in Venice!

Wonderful! - We saw Rigoletto, and it was an excellent experience. We’ve seen a full production of the opera live before, and the intimate setting and WONDERFUL singers and musicians really made this production come together. You are in an old house for the opera, and will move to different rooms for different acts of the opera. I highly recommend, both as an opera snob and as a tourist in Venetian.

Something a little bit different - It is not a fully fledged opera experience but nonetheless it gives you a delightful feeling of what it might be like. You certainly feel that you are right there on stage with both the actors and the musicians.

This was pretty fun! Very... - This was pretty fun! Very talented crew. The rooms are very stuffy and hit though. They cram a lot of people in these pretty small rooms and there’s no AC.

My first opera experience & it was great! - The musicians and cast were perfecto! It was a fun evening out with my love. I took others recommendations and booked a comedy for our first opera and I think that was a great tip. The cast really included the audience in the performance & were very entertaining and talented. Thanks for a great night!

Beautiful Musical Experience in Venice. - I wanted to experience a musical performance while visiting Venice for the first time. I heard about Musica a Palazzo and was intrigued. Having the opportunity to listen to "La Traviata" in an authentic setting sounded magical. It absolutely was a treat! The performers were wonderful and sound, lighting and sets were appropriate to set the mood. The champagne offered during intermission was a nice addition. The palazzo itself was very beautiful. Moving from room to room for each act enhanced the entire evening. The staff were attentive and helpful to all the guests during the evening. I would recommend this experience if you enjoy opera/live music in a beautiful setting.

Immersive experience, be prepared - The format of the performance, in a restored palazzo, was so unique. The three acts of La Traviata were performed in different rooms giving the audience the chance to change seating, interaction while changing your perspective of the performance. The performers had beautiful strong voices that filled the rooms. A few recommendations to travelers considering this experience- get there 15-20 minutes before doors open if you want to sit up close for Act One. There is no recording or pictures of the performance so don’t plan on it. However you can take pictures of the “stage” and with performers afterward. Last note, eat dinner before you go, there are very few options near the theater after the performance.
