An alternative Venice - Full day full of experiences: boat trip, production of glass products in Murano and lace in Burano. In all this our guide Giovanni accompanied us with great attention explaining peculiarities and history of places and traditions. And there was also a gastronomic moment with the tasting of the typical Burano biscuits. I sincerely recommend this itinerary with Giovanni!

Beautiful Murano and Burano - Fantastic trip. Guide was brilliant. Murano with the glass blowing demonstration was so good. Then to Burano, stunning little island, so beautiful. Had a great lunch there too! Highly recommend this trip. Fantastic value for money.

Great trip to Murano and Burano island - Good half day excursion to Murano and Burano island in a big comfortable boat. Guide was very informative. It was a bit struggle to find the tour starting point as the reps were bit delayed. Once the tour started it was all good. Highly recommended

Murano and Burano tour - The ear speaker unit used to communicate from the tour guide was terrible. The previous day we had a unit that came with a single ear bud - sound was great. This tour there was terrible feedback and the unit didn’t stay in our ears. Guide was great, information was good. I wish we had a bit more time in Murano and more info at the factory. Murano and glass blowing was my most looked forward to stop but we enjoyed Burano very much.

A few niggles but good overall - The trip itself was fantastic. But the meeting place was badly thought out. A lot of people not knowing where they should be. Maybe mention a boarding pier number. The guides were late and we were all standing around in the hot sun with no shade. Once on the boa,t the trip was brilliant, our guide was very knowledgeable. And both islands were lovely. Be prepared for the hard sell in murano though. €45 for a very small Christmas decoration is a bit steep.

Too crowded, only so-so - The destinations were nice. Burano, especially was beautiful. The guide lost half the group by walking quicker than the stragglers could keep up. The descriptions were ok but not special. On board the boat, it was overcrowded with pushy tourists from every country. Overall, it worked out to be just average and a water taxi to Burano and Murano would’ve been just as good.

Not bad, but a couple of problems. - This is a worthwhile trip to take. Murano is amazing, Burano is quaint and pretty, Torcello is one of the few times you will not be around crowds...not bad. But the tour had a couple of negatives. The first was the fact that none of us could hear our guide through the earpieces we were given. It wasn't just my set, it was everyone's (a group of 6). The second negative was the obvious sales nature of the Murano visit. I don't mind this, and kind of expected it. But the pitch was pretty hardball. We honestly might have bought something had the pitch not been so hard. That just makes us want to walk away. Anyway, it was a nice way to spend the day. Hopefully they'll fix the headset problem, and just be aware that the sales pitch will be coming in at 100 mph.

The tour is in English,... - The tour is in English, the Guide spoke so fast that I didn’t have time to translate for my daughter into French. Also, there was interference and we couldn't hear well. Then we were transported a bit like cattle in a closed boat in which it was between 30 and 35 degrees... It was horrible in this heat, impossible, to get some fresh air, we stopped in Murano, we had a demonstration of glass making that lasted a few minutes... then we were taken to a showroom with parts for sale at an exorbitant price... A few minutes later, we went to small shops, annex where it was 10 times cheaper... It was shameful... Then we left very quickly to Burano, where we were told three minutes about the making of lace to try to sell us longer the manufactures, handmade or machine made... Then we were made to taste a typical cupcake in 30 seconds, and we were strongly encouraged to buy in this bakery... Here we had a little more time to discover Lille... Then we had to take back this poorly ventilated and unconditioned boat... Back in Venice, we were exhausted and dehydrated... We did not feel to profit because the conditions were unpleasant and we really felt like we were being taken for purses... Very unpleasant, it was the factory without any consideration. To be avoided as is.
