- Each gondola can host maximum 5 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guests weight.
- The Gondola Ride does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or high/low tide (in these cases it can be postponed the days after otherwise it will be refunded)
- The itinerary may change in the event of wind or bad weather
- The guide will be only on one gondola, the participants on the others gondola will listen to her/him with the audio-devices
- The live commentary will be only in English, French, Spanish and Italian. The commentary on German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Russian will be provided by mobile app downloaded on the own devices.
- The live commentary IS NOT included in the PRIVATE OPTION
- Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time

Magic! - I think I have been waiting my whole life to ride in a gondola in Venice! It was a magical experience. Everyone was so helpful and kind! I liked that we didn’t spend a lot of time on the Grand Canal as it is busy, loud and the water was choppy. Once we got on the smaller canals it was even more lovely! The ride is long enough to feel like it is a good value. The weather was perfect!

Excellent tour! - We had a wonderful time on this tour around Venice! There is a walking tour as you wander through the streets of Venice to get to the gondola. Then a beautiful gondola ride through the canals. Perfect way to learn a little about the city and ride in a gondola.

Gondola tour - The history of Venice. Worth every penny! The only downside was we couldn’t attend the tour booked the previous tour and would have hoped for a partial refund or put it towards the tour we booked the next day.

Wanted longer in the Gondola - The gondola ride was very relaxing and a great way to see another part of the city. We both wished it was a little longer in the gondola and a little less of the walking tour part. Didn’t know about that going into it. Our guide was very nice and did a good job explaining things clearly.

Venice, visit it once. - Venice, what a place. Loads to see, food fantastic, prices steep but you expect that, you feel safe walking in the dark late in the evening, although the amount of graffiti and rubbish in places does detract from the over all feel of the place. Makes the place feel more ghetto than gorgeous. We did see some workmen painting over areas.

Poor planning - We booked this experience for a family of 4 and they put us in the boat with a random person who took the best spot and we couldn’t sit together or take family pictures. The person was large size and blocked most of the pictures, setting the boat off balance. Very disappointed! I haven’t seen my family in 5 years and this is experience we got.

Very Disappointing - Awful customer service. My family and I had booked a gondola tour through Viator to Venice, Italy, long time ago. Unfortunately, our flight got cancelled and we couldn’t make it on the date of the tour. We had requested both Viator and the local company to postpone our tour to a day later of the original date (when we were able to get a new plane ticket to Venice). The outcome, after communicating with them several times and providing proof of the flight changes, both Viator and the local company rejected our request. They kept the money and did not give us the opportunity to reschedule. Be aware before scheduling with them that if your plans don’t go the way you have expected, you don’t get the support you need from neither Viator nor the local company and they keep your money.
