It’s not easy to familiarize oneself with Venetian cuisine, but it becomes achievable when guided by a local culinary enthusiast who’s intimately familiar with the city. Journey from one bacaro (Venetian wine bar) to another, tasting two distinct varieties of cicchetti and other regional delicacies, complemented by beverages at each location. Your knowledgeable gastronome guide will, by the end of the evening, instruct you on the places to dine, the manner of eating, and the food to try when in La Serenissima.

Incredible experience - We had an incredible tour with an incredible tour guide Daria. She was a Venice local and provided much history as we walked and ate and drank an ample amount. Would highly recommend this experience.

Try something new - Paola was an amazing guide who gave so many tastes of Venice that I would have never experienced on my own! We tried new foods and drinks that we had never even heard of, and will now be looking for in future travels. Thank you so much for sharing the food, the history, ans the culture.

Feeling like a local - We really enjoyed our food tour with Paola! You could tell they took us to places locals go and enjoy. Each place we visited welcomed us with generous portions and amazing drinks. I would definitely recommend this tour while visiting Venice!

Favorite tour ever - Barbara was an extraordinary guide, and one of our favorite experiences was getting to know what it was like for her to grow up in Venice, and two learn about her culture through food and the places she took us. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and we could ask her about anything down to what the shape of windows meant. She was also funny and very fun to be with for the evening. This was our first food tour, and the experience made me want to begin each day in a new city with a similar experience although I have to say, Barbara was the key ingredient to our joy.

Venice in the evening: a food and wine delight! - (9 May 2024) Emanuela provided interesting history, current and past, as our small group walked through Venice to each restaurant. The first stop included traditional cicchettis. Four or five versions were presented but the most interesting and tasty was the octopus in a ragu. During the course of the tour, we had spritzes, red and white wines of the region, and a lemon-flavored gin. These were paired with a meat/cheese/vegetable sample, fried cicchettis and gelato. (Vegetarian options available) Our guide's personality was warm and funny. I highly recommend this tour!

An International Experience - Our group gelled together quickly - exchanging various experiences and able to laugh about them. The hostess was extremely personable and was able to relate to everyone. The group comprised couples from Australia, Canada, UK and US - a truly international group.

A super fun way to experience Venice! - This was super fun! We had a great group. Our guide was fantastic and very laid back. Each stop offered something unique in local food and drink. We enjoyed the company of the other people in the group. We had so much food at the third stop that I didn't need dinner! And the gelato and gin at the end were very special.

Perfect guide!!! - Barbara was so great! Since she is a local, it was even more special to hear her stories and spend time with her. She took us to wonderful places. I’m not a big drinker, but I knew that I would really be going for the experience. The people I met were so nice. I’m traveling solo through Italy. This was such a nice way to start my trip in Venice. Thank you, Barbara for such a great time.

Disappointed - We were running late. The person answering the phone for the company was no help. Only offered us a next day tour even though there was an identical tour 30 minutes after ours. We were lucky and found our guide and group.
Guide was okay, nothing special. Food was mediocre. Quite dissatisfied with the food.
Also, no sunset…
Skip this. I’ve been on several good tours in many cities and this was by far the worst.
