Excellent & Professional Guide and Tour - Our tour with Ludo was one of the highlights of our visit to Venice. She taught us a great deal about the various cicchetti and wine options available throughout Venice and offered guidance on how to find the most authentic food during the remainder of our stay. A+

A tasty orientation to Venice! - Ludo gave us a great tour in some of the quieter corners of Venice. In addition to the drinks and snacks we learned how it is to live here day to day from a native Venetian. She gave us lots of good tips for the rest of our visit here too!

Great sampler of Venetian foods - Silvia was our tour guide, and she did a fantastic job of showing us around the different areas of Venice near the Rialto bridge, whilst trying out a variety of food and drink specialties. She was very knowledgable, was more than happy to answer our questions, and was a delight to be with throughout the tour. You also briefly ride the Traghetto across the Grand Canal, which offers a taste of what a Gondola ride would be like, without needing to spend €90 for a dedicated Gondola ride. Well recommended for anyone who wants to try out different foods and drink in the city, especially if you feel a bit shy going to some of the smaller, more local venues.

Not worth it - Our guide was excellent. The restaurants and food choices were mediocre. Not worth the cost. We’ve been on a bunch of food tours and other tours and would recommend the “Venice in a day” tour to learn about Venice, and skip this tour. Just walk around and get cicchetti on your own.

Worst food tour I’ve ever done - The guide rushed us through each stop. People were chugging their drinks (Imagine chugging wine down!) at each stop, because she wanted to move on. It was supposed to last 2-3 hours - was done in under 2 hours. I knew it was done when she grabbed my plate of half eaten tiramisu (at the last stop) and said “you’re done, right?” and threw it away. A group of us stood and talked about it after it was over, and we all said it was very lame. My husband and I paid $300 Cdn for the worst walking food tour we’ve ever done. I’d say without hesitation to steer clear of this company.
