Outstanding! - We had an incredible experience with Alessandro Trabucco on our tour of Venice. His knowledge of the history and arts made our tour entertaining and informative. He made our day so much better that we had drinks and pastries together after to just spend more time together. He truly is the Tour Leader of Venice!

We really enjoyed his tour and visiting these places wouldn’t have been the same without him. He presented us with many interesting facts about what we were seeing. What a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend him! 5+ Stars!

Ducal palace dungeons - Our day in Venice was spent with the very best of guides, Alessandro. He knows his stuff and is very passionate about wanting you to understand his countries history. Way beyond what we expecting and are thrilled we were able to hook up with him. Be sure to get your tickets online prior to meeting him as you could miss part of his offerings. Alessandro we wish you the very best and thanks for setting us up going over to murano and burano islands. An incredible experience even though they weren’t apart of the tour. Great advice!! San Marco and Ducal Palace - If you want to learn about Venice from a passionate Venetian, Alessandro is outstanding. He was very accommodating to one member of our group who was having some mobility issues. He knows how to maneuver through the crowds and show us what is important to see. San Marco was closed but he still arranged for us to get in and see a great deal. He had some great recommendations for us while we were in Venice. Our tour lasted longer than expected but I believe that is because Alesssandro has so much to share. He finished our tour at a nearby bar for Prosecco and cicheti. Fabulous memories of this day. We will be back!

Great 2 hour tour of Basilica and Doge’s Palace! - Great 2 hour tour of St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. Alessandro, our guide spoke perfect English. He was very accommodating and purchased skip the line entrance tickets for us in advance, which were not included in the tour price. He covered all the highlights of the Basilica’s exterior and interior, as well as interesting details of the Doge’s Palace and prison. Perfect amount for time.

Great 2 hour tour if Basilica and Doge’s Palace! - Alessandro was our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide for St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. The 2-hour tour was the perfect amount of time to see the beautiful cathedral and its stunning mosaics especially while traveling with two college age young adults. Alessandro covered the history of both landmarks in an entertaining manner. The Doge’s Palace was impressive and it’s prisons haunting. The price of the tour did not include the skip the line entrance tickets which Alessandro purchased in advance and we reimbursed him when we met. Very enjoyable tour!

Outstanding tour guide in Venice - Alessandro was excellent throughout the experience from email communication 2 months prior to our visit to the tours itself. He very promptly responded to emails, and was very helpful guiding me to the website for Douge Palace tickets. He also bought our tickets for “skip the line” access to the Basilica of San Marco, for which I reimbursed him seamlessly. Our group of 8 were all very impressed by his friendliness and knowledge of Venice and answered every question we had. We did a 2 hour walking tour in the morning and had lunch at a wonderful Venetian Trattoria which was crowded with locals including 2 tables of gondoliers! After lunch we walked to the Basilica followed by Douge Palace. Alessandro teaches history in secondary school in Mestre, but was born and raised in Venice, and it shows. He is clearly very proud of his hometown and it’s people! Cannot give him a high enough rating for everything we learned and saw in the 6 hours we were with him!

Perfect last day... - After reading reviews for this tour, I was excited to learn that we would have Alessandro as our guide, and he lived up to all my expectations! He was excellent in communicating with me, making sure that I knew what tickets to get ahead of time and where to meet on the day. Alessandro took our unexpected use of a wheel chair in stride and adapted our itinerary to match our restrictions, and helped push the chair around. I really appreciated his use of visual tools to underscore his explanations (for me) and his ability to describe things to my blind mother in a way that she could understand what we were seeing. We had a lot of fun and would sign up for a tour with him any time. He even helped us later to get to the correct platform at our hotel using the water bus and saw us to our door. An amazing and wonderful man! Thanks!
