• Please, communicate if there are disabled people partecipating the tour Please note that the route from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps down and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can only continue to the Basilica if all members of your private group can go down the stairs, but for safety reasons, wheelchairs and walkers cannot be brought down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, we can still accompany you to the Basilica, returning to the Museum entrance and walking to it from outside. Although there is a dedicated wheelchair route, keep in mind that there may be a line to enter the Basilica. Also, keep in mind that other participants in your group will have to take responsibility for pushing the wheelchair. The latter option has an extra €50.00 fee for the extra guide service to be paid directly to the guide on the day of the visit.
