A great morning exploring and learning! - I very rarely leave reviews but I thought this experience was worth writing about!
Deyan the guide was just fantastic, we exchanged a couple of emails to establish what I was after and my experience. He tailored the tour to suit. He turned up to pick me up early and the whole feel was very relaxed. I’m a solo traveller and fairly confident but I would have never explored areas like this! The terrain was varied and there was plenty of information on hand.
I would throughly recommend doing this tour as a group or on your own!

Beautiful scenery and a helping had from E-bikes - We did the half day tour of the coastline around Varna and enjoyed some beautiful views and scenery. Being only “fair weather” cyclists of moderate fitness we were a little worried that we’d be up the challenge but the electric bicycles provided by Plateau made light work of the hill climb sections. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who has even a passing interest in cycling and is looking to explore the Bulgarian countryside.

Cycling in Varna with Deyan - Deyan looked after us for the whole day. We did a 42 mile ride which was amazing.
His historical knowledge of the country is superb and we learnt a lot about Bulgaria along the route.
We had lunch in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant that was very good indeed.
Not only is Deyan a great guide, he is also a great fun guy to cycle with. Plus he know all the good coffee stops!!!!

My Best Experience of the trip to Varna - I took a bike trip with Diane, and it was the best experience of the trip to Varna.
The guide Diane is a very kind and friendly guy, and it's fun to travel with him.
We preferred to go to the hills around Varna.
Diane explained a lot to me about the history of Bulgaria, which was very interesting and enriching.
We were in picturesque villages, we visited an ancient abandoned church half underground, and we went up to an impressive fortress.
We ate a traditional and very tasty lunch which was a special experience.
In total, we rode about 40 km and it was really fun.
The guide took care of all safety matters, from checking the weather forecast, to adjusting the nature of the trip to our abilities, and safety procedures for traveling on the road.
I highly, highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed

Biking around Varna - We had a very nice bike tour. Deyan took us to visit the areas around the city of Varna, in the forest, on the shore, on the cliff, we were even taken to a hidden beach where there were only locals and it was phenomenal. We had a great experience thanks to our guide Deyan. I hope to see you again soon, but until then good luck and health.

Cycling around Varna - The experience was fantastic, the route chosen by Deyan was perfect for our physical condition, one of medium level - both on asphalt, and through the forest, and through sand, towards beaches ️less accessible to the general public, on the Black Sea coast, points of belvedere. Thank you Plateau Cycling, thank you Deyan for this experience!

Great Tour - He took us on a relaxing tour over the country side. We saw typical Bulgarian villages, a mini tour of a beautiful Bulgarian church. During the ride the guide provided local history, refreshments and was overall great.

Fun, well organized, reasonably priced - In five days we saw a varied section of the beautiful Bulgarian countryside. Routes on paved and unpaved roads. Deyan was knowledgeable and happy to fill any request. The routes were organized thoughtfully so that they would be pleasant to ride. The accommodation was very nice. Highly recommended.

So fun! - So fun! My husband got the normal trekking bike and last minute, I switched the e-bike. Best decision ever! Was a blast and loved seeing rural Bulgaria!
