- Camaggiore - We meet at the pier at the Hotel Olivedo in Varenna. We board the car that will take us up to the mountains. Travel time will be around 40 minutes. On the way you’ll be able to admire dramatic landscapes, half-abandoned churches, orchards and, of course, the lake.\nWhen we reach the parking place we leave the car and the guide will take us on a nice walk through the forest with panoramas of the water surface. The walk will take 20-30 minutes depending on the walking speed.\nRising to the very foothills of the Alps, the views will finally open in all their glory. We now get to the picnic area, where you find everything ready for you, a light music in the background, an elegant atmosphere and a magnificent view. We will show you the products we have selected from local farmers and tell you where they come from and the stories behind these places, then leave you to enjoy the atmosphere! We guarantee you will take great photos!\n\nThe total activity time will be 3 - 3.5 hours.\n\nEstimated end of the program:\n15.00

Best tour you will experience - My husband and I are on our honeymoon in Varenna, Lake Como. The guide Maria was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to plan an amazing picnic adventure. The view was truly amazing as well as the food and wine. Roberto provides the meat, and he kindly made fettuccine with boar meat as a special gift and some other fun beverages and dessert. We felt like we had an authentic local experience. Don’t pass this up!!!

This was a highlight of my time at Lake Como! - This picnic was an unexpected gem and experience! Maria was so organized and thought of everything. She shared her knowledge and history of the area as she drove us through tiny villages high above the lake on our way to the picnic area. The scenery, food and company were exceptional!!!

Highlight of my holiday - This has been the highlight of my trip. The scenery was spectacular 、the guides, Maria and Uri were excellent. The food was delicious and it was a perfect setting for the picnic. I really enjoyed the walk to the picnic spot and there was plenty of time to take photos and not rushed at all. I would highly recommend this experience.

We had the most beautiful... - We had the most beautiful memorable and delicious picnic with our friends in the Italian Alps overlooking Lake Como. Maria ‘s attention to detail and her guests is something not to miss. We loved the locally sourced food and wine. It was one of our best experiences on Lake Como.
