Ganga aarti is conducted every evening by a group of priests at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. During the aarti, Agni Pooja is performed, which involves making a commitment to Lord Shiva, Mata Gange, Surya, Agni (Fire), and the entire universe created by Lord Shiva.
