Note: For this tour, please ensure your arrival at the airport is before 3 pm to make the most of your day. Varanasi is approximately an hour’s drive from the airport.

Sarnath - After freshening up, you will proceed to Sarnath, located 20 km from Varanasi. This is where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, marking the beginning of Buddhism. Emperor Ashoka later built numerous stupas and monuments here to promote Buddhism. Sarnath is also home to various animals and birds, with the Deer Park being a notable attraction.

Sarnath Museum - The museum houses remnants of monasteries and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. After visiting, return to the hotel to freshen up and prepare for more sightseeing.

Ganga Aarti - In the evening, experience a truly unforgettable moment at the River Ganges. Witness the Ganga Aarti, a grand evening event starting at 5:00 p.m., attracting people from around the world. The ceremony, held at Dashaswamedh Ghat, features young priests in saffron and white robes performing rituals with flowers and oil lamps, accompanied by synchronized chanting. Thousands of small oil lamps float on the river, resembling countless stars. The well-choreographed ritual is a sight to behold. Enjoy your overnight stay in Varanasi. Blue Lassi Shop - In the evening, indulge in a street food tour through the narrow lanes of Varanasi’s Kachori Gali, famous for its Banarasi street breakfast kachori. Visit the renowned Blue Lassi shop and explore the bustling markets of Varanasi, sampling local street foods like chat, lassi, and Paan Malaiyo (a winter specialty).

Assi Ghat - Early in the morning, attend the Morning Aarti at Assi Ghat to welcome the sun god, featuring Havana, Aarti, and Yoga. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges, a mystical and spiritual experience. Observe people offering water to the sun god and devotees taking holy dips in the river. Visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via a hand-rowing boat, witnessing daily life on the Ganges, including rituals at Manikarnika Ghat.

Manikarnika Ghat - The boat will drop you at Manikarnika Ghat for a guided tour and explanation of this remarkable site, the only place in the world where cremations occur continuously. Take a 30-minute walk to explore traditional ayurvedic oils, heritage buildings, temples, and Varanasi’s architecture.

Walk along “The Ghats” from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat, observing sages (Sadhus) and life on the ghats. Learn about the cremation process and hear fascinating stories about Varanasi from your professional guide.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple) - As you walk through the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, you’ll reach the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, reconstructed in 1780 by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore. Note: Carry a passport copy for entry. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast and enjoy more stories with your guide.

Banaras Hindu University - After breakfast, embark on a “City Tour” starting at Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple), Manas Mandir, and BHU. Explore the world’s oldest city, visit sacred Hindu temples, stroll through narrow lanes, and discover ancient mosques. Return to the hotel.

Lallapura Muslim School Road - Spend time shopping for souvenirs and visiting Muslim areas to witness the creation of world-famous Banarasi handmade sarees. (No pressure to purchase anything.) Experience the saree weaving process, with over 10,000 machines in operation.

The hand rowing boat ride starts from Dashashwamedh Ghat and goes to Harishchandra ghat & Manikarnika ghat and ends at Dashashwamedh Ghat. That is the best part of your life which you will never forget. Varanasi is also known as the city of temples so we will take you to the most popular temples which are Bharat Mata Mandir, Sankat Mochan, Durga Mandir, Ganga Aarti, Kashi Vishwanath Mandir.
