• Sarnath - Sarnath is located 10 kilometers northeast of Varanasi, near the confluence of the Ganges and Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. The deer park in Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, marking the beginning of the Buddhist Sangha through Kondanna’s enlightenment.

• Ashoka Pillar - The Ashoka Pillars in India were erected by Mauryan King Ashoka between 268 to 232 BC across the Indian subcontinent. They symbolize his dynamic rule and conquests. While many pillars have been lost or destroyed, 20 still stand in India, representing the earliest known stone scriptures and showcasing the advanced Mauryan civilization.

• Dhamekh Stupa, Sarnath - Dhamek Stupa is a significant site in Sarnath due to its historical importance as the location of Buddha’s first sermon, where he introduced the eightfold path to nirvana. The stupa features a cylindrical tower rising 43 meters, with a diameter of 28 meters. The monument’s arched niches may have once held Buddha statues, and it boasts intricate carvings on some sides.

• Ganga Aarti - Just before sunset, prepare for an unforgettable experience as you head to the River Ganges to witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony with a boat ride (if chosen). This grand event begins at 7 PM at Dasashwamedh Ghat, where you will be captivated by the ritual. Aarti, a Hindu ceremony, is performed by young clergymen dressed in silk saffron and white robes, waving lamps in synchronized motion to the sound of bells, drums, cymbals, and Sanskrit chants. Early morning we will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking a holy dip in the Ganges. We will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat and come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, see the “Temple Tour” most religious Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple, Sankat Mochan , Manas Mandir, and BHU. At noon we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa, and the archaeological museum, return to the hotel.
