A "must do" for wildlife lovers! - I have no words to describe how much I loved this experience. The thrill of seeing the whales was something I will never forget in my life. The boat is comfortable, the crew is extremely kind and rich in knowledge. They are available to answer any questions and really dedicate themselves to ensuring that everyone can see the whales. I loved it, loved it and would do it 1000 times again. Whales are a show of nature.

Wonderful, 100% would do it again. - We had such a great experience - thank you to all the crew. Their passion for their jobs was palpable and they were just so happy to share their knowledge. Despite the weather not playing very nicely with us we saw bald eagles, seals, sea lions and a humpback whale. The emailed photos were an unexpected and lovely inclusion. Thanks team for a great experience.

Incredible Experience - Anthony, Wilma, Sandy, Jill and Lucas were fabulous Naturalists and tour guides who not only exhibited enthusiasm, but you could tell they truly loved their jobs. We got to see Pacific white-sided dolphins who have never been seen by this crew before. And of course seeing the humpback whales was surreal. They made the trip educational, fun and truly enjoyable!

Definitely recommend - Prince of Whales was very attentive, firstly checking in before we arrived and secondly, once arrived, I was with my elderly mum and all the time they were very accommodating ensuring she was ok. But then to top it off, we got to see hump back whales, bald eagles and sea lions plus the best free hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend.

Great trip to see humpbacks - We were lucky that the weather was good for whale watching and we were rewarded with many sightings of humpback whales, including several pups. We didn’t get to see any orcas sadly but the team really tried hard to find some. The boat is comfortable and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. It’s not a cheap outing but we were delighted to see so many humpbacks, the scenery was also great! We were out for over 4 hours.

Best whale watching company out there - A fantastic experience. I've been on the boat many times but was especially impressed on the last tour where we could see a rare interaction between orcas and humpbacks. A big thanks to Amanda, Jill, Tobin, and the rest of the crew.

Great, but book direct with the Company - We saw a pod of 7 orcas and a humpback, spending over an hour in total, pretty much in silence in beautiful scenery, with the boat engines cut. Marine biologists were on hand on different areas of the boat to give us info on the wildlife, which was very interesting. We were outside and up the back of the boat and found ours difficult to hear, so a problem with the sound system, we suspect. The boat pilot was skilful in locating the animals and judging how near to get, so we could watch their natural behaviour. The scenery in the sound was beautiful, helped by a 23 degree day in October. You absolutely need at least one extra warm layer, though, and a windproof jacket for the speedier sections of the journey. The company seemed very aware about passenger safety, there were complimentary hot drinks and and snacks available to buy. There are toilets and it is pretty easy to get round the boat - you might need to run from side to side for that photo opportunity! All in all, a lovely experience, watching these wonderful animals in beautiful surroundings. Just save money by buying your ticket direct from the company, either online or at their office on Granville Island - also worth a good few hours’ visit.
