Phenomenal experience - Excellent experience! The entire staff was great…Tobin was a phenomenal guide. We were able to see countless humpback whales. We also say sea lions, seals and several birds. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended - Incredible experience. Booked this months ago as I’d always wanted to see whales in the wild. POW changed my booking time but were speedy and polite with communications. The trip itself was awesome. The boat is comfortable and the staff , especially Jill who was with us at the front of the boat, were all professional and hugely passionate about the marine life we saw. They took time to engage and explain a lot about the whales and the locations. We saw a number of humpbacks on our trip and the captain remained sensitive to the need to give them space and distance. Sadly no Orcas seen but on the whole a highly recommended trip. And they send you a batch of free photos taken by the crew on the day. Wrap up warm though as whilst you may leave Granville Island in glorious sunshine it soon gets colder and windy out on the water.

Excellent tour - Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Getting to see the whales (we were lucky enough to see both orcas and humpbacks) was incredible, and in general the scenery was stunning. The staff were all extremely helpful and professional and the inclusion of free hot chocolate was really nice. Our naturalist guide, Maurice, had a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer all of our questions in excellent detail. His enthusiasm really shone through and he kept us all engaged for the whole tour. We left feeling satisfied that we had experienced amazing wildlife viewing in a responsible way, and had also learned a load - overall, it was even better than we had hoped for!

Yes you do see whales! - What an amazing trip. Great Central boarding location on Granville Island. Large boat with plenty of space, set up so that everyone can be seated either inside or out so no problems with getting to sit where you want. Lots of outdoor viewing space too. Fast drive of around an hour to first spotting point. So lucky we got to see humpback whales, orcas, seals, sea lions and eagles. You can get closer if you travel on a rib boat but for comfort and convenience this works really well . Knowledgeable crew who give you lots of info ,thanks to Sebastian and Steven. Maurice also amazing as he kept the free hot drinks flowing and Karl was the driver. Whole trip lasted around 4 hours and we arrived back in the harbour to an amazing sunset. They then send you some photos taken by the crew of the wildlife you have seen. Yes it's expensive but it's worth every penny

Great experience - It was a great experience. We saw a lot of whales. The team did a great job of informing us. And the fact that you can later download the professional photos to complement your mobile phone photos is great.

Amazing tour and crew! - This was such a great experience, we did the sunset tour and saw so many orcas and humpback whales, and even go to see the DFO in action when people were harassing the whales, I would recommended to everyone! The crew was so incredibly nice and informative and even helped out my fiancé when he proposed at the end of the tour, and on top of that gave us a little engagement gift too. We will definitely be coming back, this was such an incredible and memorable experience.
