Highlights

Lawrence Tours - After 10am pickup from your downtown hotel, you’ll drive through Vancouver and westward toward Stanley park, the largest Urban Park in North America. Visit the totem park were your guide will explain the carvings and cultural notes throughout the park. There are natural wonders from 1000 year old trees to the great history of the area we proceed through the west end to Shaughnessy for the grand house viewing and arrive at the Granville island public market for lunch after our tour on the island we head to The Olympic village and Yaletown for a mix of modern and old before heading to fabulous Chinatown. There, you’ll visit the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Gardens, with a stopover at a Chinese tea shop. Then head to Gastown, where your guide will explain Gassy Jack’s story and how Vancouver became the major trading port it is today. If time allows we also have an option to visit the 238 flavor ice cream palace Le Casa, then back to your hotel and on the way your guide will mention a few good restaurants and other activities to complete your day.

Great way to see Vancouver - Really enjoyed seeing the top spots. Michael, our guide, was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Happened to be a sunny day which was a cherry on top.

Great way to see top sites in Vancouver - Michael was friendly and knowledgeable. We covered a lot of territory but we didn’t feel rushed. A great way to get a good sense of the city. We decided to return to any area that seemed like it needed more investigation. Don’t miss the ice cream!

Vancouver with personal touches! - I was lucky to have a private tour of Vancouver! Mike was excellent and shared so much information about Vancouver! Vancouver in the Van! - After hearing about this tour from our friends, we booked it while in Vancouver after the Rocky Mountaineer. We were SO glad that we did! Michael is the owner and was our chauffeur and tour guide. His Mercedes Benz van was very comfortable for the 10 of us, and he is a great driver. The tour was to be about 5 hours, but it ended up being 7 hours. We saw so many interesting and beautiful Vancouver sights. Having lived there for over 30 years, Michael has the expertise about and love of Vancouver. He is an expert on plants, trees, building architecture, fishing, and history. You might think how can one person be an expert in so many areas. I don't know, but HE IS! What a wealth of information and such a memory for facts and dates and all kinds of tidbits of interesting information. Plus, he is a really nice guy! Very caring and empathetic, too. His personality shines through, and we all felt very comfortable. It was a long day, BUT...we saw it all in comfort and had a lot of fun! I highly recommend Michael and his company's tours. Ask him about the lures that he handcarves.
