A Family Adventure Begins

As a family travel writer, I’m always on the lookout for destinations that offer a mix of adventure, relaxation, and family bonding. When I heard about Cypress Mountain, Vancouver’s premier winter playground, I knew it was a must-visit for our family. By the end of the day, my little ones were confidently gliding down the beginner slopes, and I couldn’t have been prouder.

For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, Cypress Mountain offers 19 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails. While we didn’t have time to try it on this trip, it’s definitely on our list for next time. One of the highlights of our trip was the snowshoeing tour around the historic Hollyburn Lodge.
