Whistler was Wonderful - Came to Vancouver a few days ahead on an Alaskan cruise. We booked this tour full-day tour to see more of the area. Sabastian, our tour guide, was right on time and was really knowledgeable about the area and the best places to see along our route. He gave us the backstory on the places we traveled through on our way to Whistler.

Great day out - Erik was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Great scenic drive to Whistler in a comfortable roomy vehicle. Nice stop at Shannon Falls. Plenty of time at Whistler to look around and do the Peak to Peak gondola. Great views. Would recommend.

Awesome day at Whistler - Eric provided us with a friendly and insightful tour. We felt as if we had known him for years even though we had only just met. Nothing was too difficult for him. We got to experience Whistler and some wonderful stops along the way. We would highly recommend the tour, it exceeded our expectations.

Amazing Whistler - My husband, my sister and I had the pleasure of taking this private tour from Vancouver to Whistler. Eric was our guide and he was totally the best. He was professional, attentive and fun. The drive up there was amazing. Eric pointed out so many things for us that we never would have noticed otherwise. The weather was nice and the only bad part was some smog from the wild fires in BC. But, we were still able to see a lot. Whistler was amazing. We took the trams to the top (for a cost of about 62 Canadian dollars each, which was well worth it. The lines were long, but moved well. Totally recommend doing this if you are able. There are tons of restaurants and shops. It was great to see the Olympic rings and flags. It was a great day. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, it is really exceptional.

Initally we were abit lost in Whistler village and we thought we could only do shopping.
-We almost missed visiting the peak to peak, which in my opinion is one of the key highlights. Granted its a free and easy Trip, it can be too free and easy in such a big place.
- The drive from city to Whistler is pretty managable. about 90 minutes.

Terribly disappointed - Tour operator did not know that Whistler’s Cable Car was closed to the public until June 10 (this was June 7) - and it was a. 2 hour drive away. The excursion was advertised as an Olympic Village yet there was nothing except retail stores and restaurants. We paid over $1200 for a day of driving. I think Seb, our tour guide, felt bad, so he drove us in traffic around the city. Was not knowledgeable when I asked questions. I’m shocked because this is the first time we have had a bad excursion and have taken dozens over the years. Tremendously disappointed and feel ripped off.

Double-charged for an overpriced trip - This tour for 2 people was advertised for less than $250, but I was charged $562 instead. I didn't read the voucher closely when it arrived, so the credit card statement was a real shock! Erick was friendly and accommodating - but he acted about as much like a "professional guide" as the person driving the bus up to Capilano Suspension Bridge. He picked us up at our downtown Vancouver hotel, and for the first twenty minutes or so, he was full of information about everything we passed. Then we stopped at Shannon Falls. My boyfriend wanted to see it even though the road was covered in snow, so Erick pointed the way and had my boyfriend break a path. After that, Erick didn't say much until we got to Whistler. At that point, he dropped us off, told us where to meet him when we were done, and that was it. He offered no recommendations on places to shop or things to do, or even things to avoid. Later, on the way back, he was pretty quiet - no stories, information, or other "guide" activity. He didn't even offer us bottles of water (though the voucher said they were included). Essentially, Erick was a very friendly and charming taxi driver. I was disappointed and annoyed at the time to think that I'd wasted over $200. Now, seeing my credit card statement, I am beside myself to think that I spent $562 for a few hours' driving.
