Outstanding tour of English Bay! - I had a terrific evening walking around the English Bay area with Matt. It was a gorgeous night and simply a perfect evening for walking. Matt was full of information about the neighborhood and took me to spots frequented by locals so that was great. A nice, personalized approach to a walking tour and I highly recommend using Matt and his company.

Delightful Vancouver BC English Bay Tour - We enjoyed getting to know Matt as he showed us the highlights of the English Bay area of Vancouver BC. The weather was perfect and the area is beautiful. We ended our walk with a delicious craft, beer and appetizer at a local brewery with a lovely view of the waterfront. Enjoyable end to our perfect vacation tour of the Canadian Rockies.

Outstanding! - I took the English Bay tour on a fall weekday. It was sunny and warm and the leaves had just turned color. 'Couldn't believe my luck... I was the only person on the tour! My personal guide took me on a leisurely stroll down a popular shopping street. He pointed out interesting stores along the way, offering to visit any one of them if I was curious. (I was particularly intrigued by the Australian Pie shop!) We visited an outdoor art exhibit. I learned about the historic Sylvia Hotel and marveled at its ivy-covered exterior. Who was Joe Forte and why is he so loved by beachgoers? Why do otherwise sane folks by the thousands come to the beach on New Years Day? These and many other questions were answered as we strolled along Vancouver's famous Seawalk. The perfect conclusion to our tour was a fine local craft beer served by a charming young woman who lived in the neighborhood and added her perspectives.

Great walking tour! - Matt was a great host. After a stop at a delicious local bakery, we had a lovely walk around English Bay where Matt pointed out some neighborhood highlights and answered all my questions about the area. We ended our tour with a lovely sunset at a craft brewery on the bay. Matt offered a “non-traditional” tour experience with a great social connection. What a nice way to start my week in Vancouver.

Perfect glimpse into the local experience that brings the city to life! Great introduction to Vancouver highly recommend - So glad we booked this to kick off our trip! Food is really the glimpse into the local experience that brings a city to life. Our guide, Matt, was incredible! He picked great spots to stop with wonderful food and stunning views, was a wealth of knowledge, and a great conversationalist. We learned so much about the area and this event even helped us start getting oriented in Vancouver. Highly recommend this experience! It helped make our trip special.

Great tour around English Bay - Loved the tour through West downtown. Matthew is very social, quite knowledgeable and has interesting stories to share about some of the buildings and local places you will encounter. I can only recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to get to know other people that visit vancouver. The setting sun from the craft beer bar that we stayed at was pretty awesome as well!

Great Time on this Experience - Travelling alone to Vancouver, this was a great way to pass a couple of hours, and explore a neighborhood I may have missed with a local resident. Matt was a great host and showed us some spots as we enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the English Bay neighborhood. There was a nice vibe among the group and it was fun to socialize with some other travelers and enjoy a drink together. Would love to see this type of thing in other cities too!

Great experience! - My experience with Getogether at English Bay was amazing! Matt showed me parts of English Bay I never would've found on my own. We met at my favourite bakery in Vancouver and went for a nice walk through the neighborhood. I learned about the history of Sylvia Hotel and the Boston Ivy that runs up the building. Our walk led us along the seawall where we enjoyed awesome ocean views and a nice conversation. We ended our walk at the Craft pub and enjoyed some food and drinks. I would recommend booking if you enjoy local neighborhood vibes and meeting new people.
