Anthony was a great tour... - Anthony was a great tour guide! We were a group of 6 (3 couples). He had everyone practice before heading out on the tour. He was very knowledgeable and patient with the beginners. I would definitely recommend!

Valletta by segway - It was absolutely amazing experience, from the begging till the end. Matthew was great leader, as it was first experience for me, he was very supportive and patient, I felt at ease from very begging. I loved it so much, definitely will recommend to anyone, no matter if you have experience or not. Segway was so easy to operate, we couldn't see so much by walking. Thank you very much for that great tour!

Super! - We booked online last minute. Matthew was already waiting for us at the agreed location. We already had experience with a Segway so the trip could start quickly. He was very helpful and was a very good guide. We visited the old city and he knew better than anyone how to show the hidden places. We have already made a reservation with him for October. We are already looking forward to this!

Would do it again in a heartbeat - We booked this Segway tour as we thought it would be a fun way of seeing Valletta. Anthony was our guide and whilst it was just myself and my wife, we had the best time ever. Anthony is such a down to earth guy, knew his history well and informative! Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Valletta, it’s fun, informative and you’ll wish you could do it again!

April Valletta tour - This is excellent and unique way of seeing the sights around Valleta. The whole experience was well planned and thought out. The price is great too. At short notice they had to change our booking and all the communication was excellent. Highly recommend this company. The added bonus of the Malta experience movie was a great way to get more historical information.

Great tour - Great day out with the family and teenagers, all loved it the city is beautiful and the Segway tour fantastic, just go ahead and book it, great day way to see the city with Luke as a guide who knows a very knowledgeable.

Cancelled last minute - twice! Not even apologetic. Then a bad tour. - They cancelled on me within 30 minutes of the star time, twice!! I must be a glutton for punishment, cause I actually went the third time... and it was terrible. Basically just kids playing on segways with absolutely no info provided. The movie tells you Malta's history, but it doesn't tie it to what was seen on the tour at all. This is just a joy ride on segways for kids; not a tour.

WARNING - if the ship itinerary changes, you're out of luck and money! - On our recent cruise our Captain had to make the very difficult decision to skip our port in Valletta, Malta. We, as many others were heartbroken but understood that due to safety issues caused by the high winds, the captain had our best interests in mind. I had booked this Segway Tour prior to our trip commencing based on suggestions from others and reading reviews (much like this one) and thinking it would be a fun excursion to try and great to get an idea of what the city had to offer. Well, considering we did not make Malta due to weather, I contacted the vendor as soon as we heard the announcement who stated in no uncertain terms they would refund my pre-paid money back for the tour. I was surprised as every other company I'd booked excursions with (those also recommended by others) stated that they followed the cruise itinerary and would offer funds back should we not be able to dock. After speaking with this vendor and understanding they do not honor that stance, I called Viator. They too have backed the vendor and not their customers so I am out the money with nothing to show for it but a bad taste for what I thought was a quality company. I will never recommend nor use Viator again and would like others to understand the chance you are taking using them as a third party if you are cruising rather than staying locally. Choose cruise-sponsored excursions if you like large crowds and to spend extra $, or better yet go with the local guides who guarantee funds back if the ship itinerary changes for no fault of your own. We went with local guides at 7 of our 11 stops and they were amazing, but not Viator/Valletta Segway Tour & The Malta Experience. I have never written a scathing review, until now; I'm very disappointed such a large company does not back it's customers.
