An unexpected pleasure - Fascinating! Eduardo is an excellent guide! We enjoyed the tour and learned a great deal. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dry cenote and the glass-sided boxes which showed how different the hives were inside. Tasting the varieties of honey was a great way to end.

Excellent experience and attention from Javier our guide - We went on the bee tour, Javier our guide was very professional and attentive at all times. You had the opportunity to learn a little more about the different species of bees that are in the area, learn about their habitat, a little history, as well as acquire top quality products made with honey and wake up, uffff, a cool one with its handmade tortillas along with with ha-Sokol-p'aak, a regional food made from seeds, tomatoes, habanero chili, cilantro, garlic, chives.

Natural bees - It is a new panorama, seeing the conservation of nature, bees in their natural habitat, everyone very friendly and professional, clarifying our doubts. The tortilla tasting is incredible. Furthermore, during the tour you can appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna that live there.

Be Sure to Include This tour in your visit to Valladolid - My friend and I really enjoyed the Mayan Bee tour. It was very interesting and informative. The area is beautiful and it was the first time I had ever been in a dry cenote. The honey tasting at the end was fun and delicious. We then had a nice lunch at the restaurant where we enjoyed eating beside a lovely fountain and listening to beautiful Spanish guitar music. It wasn’t too long of a tour and so close to the town square so a cheap taxi ride.

Nice Experience Near Town - I booked my visit to Xkopek on Viator - in hindsight, this was not necessary - you can book via WhatsApp or try to walk in. Nonetheless, I think this experience was really good value for about 20$ USD. The business was very responsive on What'sApp and changed my visit time with zero hassle. I took a taxi from town (the driver knew where it was and the ride was very cheap). The staff was welcoming, and I joined a great 90 minute tour to a dry cenote, bee box area, and a woman from Kanxoc demonstrating tortilla making - we got to try sikil pak and a chaya drink also. I learned a lot about the ecosystem and the stingless bees. My guide had beautiful Spanish, English and French and used all of them with our group; he also knew and was able to teach about the Maya language. We finished up a honey tasting which was very nice and hygienic. Since I booked the tour, I was also able to stay for lunch at their restaurant. The lunch of poc chuc was a bit dry but tasty and a generous portion, with included (and very good) Jamaica, beans and homemade tortillas. The shop was inviting also- I picked up a few honey themed gifts - throat lozenges and soap. All in all, I would visit again - the property itself is very inviting, and if you stay overnight they have a pretty great pool.

Complete Mayan Bee Tour experience - A very complete visit, the person in charge of the tour was very friendly and it is clear that he knows very well what he is talking about. We saw much more than we expected and learned many things that I would like many more people to know. Plus the price is totally worth it. In the complex they also have a camping area or cabins where you can stay and it has a pool and restaurant. Totally recommended!
