Carrer del Penyagolosa, 5 - We will meet at the door of San Valero Parish. We will go to the Ruzafa market together and we will make the purchase of the fresh products necessary to cook a good paella. While we are making the purchase we will tell you the origin of the paella and customs and culture of the Valencian people.
Later we will walk for 8 minutes to reach the kitchen where we will hold a sangria workshop. The chef will be waiting us with some delicious tapas accompanied by sangria, beer, water… Then our chef will explain step by step the preparation of a vegetable paella and once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

My First Paella is a platform that will instruct you on the methods of making a vegetable paella. Our crew of local chefs and aides will teach you the art of creating a Vegetable Paella in the most fun, entertaining fashion. We aim to enlighten you on the integral aspects of paella. Following the completion of the course, we’ll maintain communication to clear up any queries you might have, until you become a part of this exclusive club of rice chefs.

Brilliant experience! - Brilliant way to spend a day in Valencia! The market was lovely and the class was great fun! We learnt how to make paella and the instructors were friendly and fun. Tapas before the cooking was such a treat and the sangria was delicious too!

Best immersive experience in valencia - Best experience in Valencia. The hosts at my first paella were great and make the entire experience very fun. 10/10 recommended for someone who wants to have an immersive experience in the birthplace of paella. I took the vegetarian paella class and it was delicious. A bit pricey but they offer tapas and drinks AND desserts too along with your paella so it’s worth it. Very hands on, had a great time.
