A Valencia must do - We had a great time cooking together. The paella we made was delish. The chef is so knowledgeable that I feel like I could actually cook a paella and do a decent job. He talked about the different features of what is a good paella and how to achieve it, how to overcome problems that may arise. And he gave us contact info in case we have questions when making it at home. Great time, great paella, great tapas, great sangria, great night!

Relaxed, informative and fun - Myself and my partner attended the class. We were two of four, so it was very relaxed and informative. We prepared everything with Antonio, who is a very personal and friendly guy. He knows his craft very well, and we laughed with him a lot. Both myself and my partner had a great time, and went home feeling very full. I would have sero hesitation recommending the experience, we enjoyed every part of it :)

Learned to make a REAL Valencia paella - My wife and I had a wonderful experience in a real working kitchen. Our paella master chef was delightful and engaging. The end result of our group effort was amazing. Not sure if I will ever be able to look at paella the same way in the future now that I've had a taste of an official Valencia style paella. Hopefully I can replicate this at home. Fortunately he gave us the recipe!

Amazing cooking class! - Antonio was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. The class and lesson were great. The end dishes tasted great. We had homemade Sangria, Valencian Saled, and awesome Paella. We would highly recommend this class in cooler months.

Highlight of Valencia - Fabulous !! International chef Antonio was so engaging and passionate about his traditional Valencian paella is was impossible not to share his enthusiasm. With only 4 in the group we all took part in the preparation and cooking of the meal under Antonio's joyful guidance. The result was amazing! So much tastier than the expensive restaurant paella from the night before. But the best part was the stories and laughter as we shared the paella hot off the stove and straight from the pan. Gracias Chef!

Great experience, amazing paella! - Gregor was great! He explained Valencian paella and walked us through the process step by step explaining the cultural background behind all of the ingredients. And the paella, sangria and dessert was all delicious!

Nice experience - Interresting way how to prepare trafotional paella. Only few ingrediences you need and the result is very tasty.

Beware: One of these is not like the other - People should be aware that this paeela class is nothing like the other classes we’ve taken in Valencia. Previous classes included an air-conditioned, spacious kitchen, and dining area, where they offered drinks appetizers, the cooking class and a dining experience. This one promised most of the same, but fell way short. Upon arrival you were greeted by a very nice and entertaining host. however you are taken upstairs to a hot kitchen with limited ventilation. After cooking your paella, you stand around the oven eating off of plates that you’re holding. There is no dining experience and at the end a piece of cheesecake is taken out in plastic to share. Previous classes included an apron, and a wooden spoon that we still have to this day. Asked if we were going to be able to keep the aprons. The host said no. Considering this class was twice the cost of other classes in Valencia, I would just go with another class. Unfortunately for us all the other classes were on holiday and I can’t help but believe that the price was increased, knowing that tourists would not know the difference in the experiences offered in the city. Since our family lives in Valencia, and we purchased this for out-of-town family, we took a chance. We won’t make the mistake again looking at the other reviews I can only believe that this was the only experience other people have had, and probably don’t know what to expect. At $600 for six people, this is the most expensive paella we’ve ever purchased.
