Discover the scenes filmed in Peñiscola for the Game of Thrones. We’ll visit the Town of Peñíscola from Valencia, renowned as one of Spain’s most charming towns.
Situated on the coast, its ancient town is surrounded by city walls. It is also home to the well-known Pope Luna’s castle, where Pope Benedict XIII took shelter. It is one of the best-maintained castles in Spain and the final castle constructed by the Templars.
We’ll explore the ancient town of Peñíscola, including the Castle.
The round trip is 3 hours, and we will spend about 3.5 hours in Peñíscola, including roughly 1.5 hours for lunch. We appreciate your booking with us.

Must do! - Besides the town being incredibly gorgeous, Miguel was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had on a tour. He was beyond accommodating, very knowledgeable. Like how he told us which pieces in the castle were refurbished, replicas, when he was showing us the Game of Thrones examples, he played the music in the full scene. He went above and beyond the entire entire time. I had recommended this tour specifically because of the tour guide. Worth it. A must do! April was great weather for walking, not too crowded or hot.

Great Tour with an Amazing Guide - This was a fun adventure through the Game of Thrones City of Meereen, with a delicious local lunch.
Miguel is an amazing guide, and the castle is a sight to behold - not to mention the great sea views as you look out from your kingdom.
Can't wait to get home and re-watch Game of Thrones to compare scenes to the pictures I took in the exact same locations. Will definitely do this tour again. Highly recommend.

Very good experience - The guide gave us a fabulous tour, I loved the castle and the Game of Thrones scenes in Peñiscola, the medieval town of Vilafames was also wonderful.

Spectacular town - A very picturesque town with some very nice houses and a spectacular castle, the guide did not teach everything and it was a great experience.

Amazing Game of Thrones Castle! - I really recommend this tour and the guide, he was amazing and so knowledgeable about the history. It was very private only me and my family. We walked the entire little village then went inside the castle with a guided tour. The views are amazing you feel like you are in another place.
