Tour with a true Valencian - My husband and I did a three-hour private walking tour with Elena. We loved her passion and enthusiasm for Valencia. We felt like we learned a lot. At the end, she went an extra step by calling ahead to a restaurant that was just opening for the day and telling them that a party of two would be coming for Valencian paella, which apparently takes an hour to make. So, we got there, had an appetizer, then our paella was ready.

These walking tours are definitely the way to experience a new city. She kindly dropped us off at a great tapas place for lunch too.</p>
