A delicious cooking afternoon - I had such a fun experience! This was my 1st travel cooking class - and has turned out not to be my last. We met on the steps to a church near the Ruzafa market- very easy to find, public, visible spot. We made market stops to find out about all the ingredients & enjoy a few taste samples, then continued on to the cooking kitchen. We started off with delicious sangria & tapas - what else would be more appropriate? Then split into groups - i was making seafood Paella, the other was traditional meat (chicken, rabbit, I think). The cooking was a fun time - explanation of the techniques for prepping & cooking the ingredients, cooking with people. Then we sat down to eat our creation - with more wine and dessert. And it turned out 1 of the guys in my group used to live in my county - what a small world. Paella isn't hard or complicated, it's a great group cooking experience and of course - I turned out delicious!

eat more paella and have fun - A big thank you goes to Ana, Cristina(our fish paella grandmaster) and Juan who always made sure that we did not suffer from lack of liquid in the kitchen...after a short but informative market visit we started cooking. Cristina helped us with all the necessary steps and explained everything, even a short sangria course was included ... we had a lot of fun and the paella at the end was the highlight

Amazing experience - We had an amazing time participating in the paella-making activity! The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and explained everything clearly. They were also very patient and encouraging with the kids, making sure everyone got involved — even my son, who usually never cooks, was excited to participate! The team was truly wonderful. I honestly feel like I had the most authentic and delicious paella here, and I also understood the true meaning of paella for the locals: it’s not just a dish, but a way to bring family and friends together, to cook, to share, and to enjoy meaningful moments. Highly recommend this unforgettable experience!

Sangria, Paella y mucho mas! - From start to finish they just win you over! Joan (our guide and chef) was funny from the start and got you hook line and sinker. We had a wonderful time going over the Ruzafa market and going over topics like "how not to be scammed" but I think the most important one was "what to put in your paella". Of course this depends per paella, but for our Seafood one it was quite clear and so amazing to see the fresh seafood at the market. I can honestly say, whichever paella experience you book, you will have a great time no matter what. Once we arrived at the location to start cooking we got greeted by the most amazing hostess (I am so sorry, I forgot her name, blame it on the Sangria) and before we could enjoy our Sangria we got a quick "how to make sangria" course - and then it was of to cooking and drinking and eating. Some fresh tapas was made, the sangria was fireeeeee and the cooking experience was so fun. Everyone had to do something and the results were insane. Just look at the pictures and you'll get a small idea of what to expect. I can honestly a 1000000% recommend this course while in Valencia, I know I'll even join again if I ever visit again. So don't wait and just book - it is more than worth it!
