The palace is situated on a site believed to have been a Roman necropolis from the 1st to 3rd centuries BC. Renovations began in 1740, leading to the appearance it has today.

As the largest market in Europe, covering over 8,000 square meters, it is also considered one of the world’s most beautiful markets by the BBC. • La Lonja de la Seda - The Silk Market is undoubtedly one of Valencia’s most iconic and charming buildings. Situated in the historic center, near the Central Market, Plazas de la Reina, and City Hall, it has been a significant landmark for over five centuries.

• Torres de Quart - The Quart Towers, or Quart Gate, are one of the two remaining fortified gates of Valencia’s medieval wall. The structure features two semi-cylindrical towers connected by a central section, with the entrance arch in the shape of a half-pointed arch.
