We’ll collect you from the designated meeting spot (Bus stop No. 25 opposite the “Palacio de Justicia”) and head to a rural home close to Albufera Natural Park. Upon arrival, we’ll indulge in some light refreshments as we take in the local scenery.
It’s time to don our chef hats and begin the cooking lesson, all while soaking in the stunning vistas and preparing a genuine paella.
As the paella gently cooks, we’ll pause to savor some traditional tapas.
Then, we’ll proceed to add the rice and delve into a variety of Valencian customs and practices.
But it’s not all about the work! The true prize is the exchange of sensations, tastes, life stories, and laughs… and, of course, the pleasure of consuming the exquisite paella you’ve made.

Fantastic authentic paella class for the entire family! - Our family of 6 had so much fun cooking authentic paella! We were staying nearby in Corbera so just drove ourselves straight to Raffa’s beautiful home. The paella was so good and we even got some cake and Valèncian oranges for dessert. Would recommend this for everyone! Wow wow wow!

A lovely way to spend a few hours. - We had a great day out on this tour. We met some very nice fellow tourists. Our hosts Rafa, Javier & Arturo gave a fun filled and very informative cooking class. It was a lovely setting. To be highly recommended.

Fabulous cooking experience for Authentic Valencian Paella! - Getting away from the city for an authentic paella outdoor cooking class was a highlight of our trip! Learning traditional recipes and techniques from a fabulous chef/instructor, in a delightful and picturesque setting, amongst a group of people from alll over, made for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon! To top it off, our homemade Sangria paired beautifully with the traditional dish. We can’t wait to try to replicate it all when get back home, to relive the unique fun of this day. We highly recommend the experience and love being new Valencian Paella Ambassodors!!!

Great Paella Cooking Experience - There were a couple of paella cooking classes I considered booking, but this was the only one out of the city at a farmhouse near the rice fields where they use the rice in the paella. Rafael was welcoming and funny and Javier did a great job translating. I enjoyed learning about the original recipe for paella and how and when it is eaten. It was delicious and such a fun experience. I’d highly recommend this experience.

Learn the secrets of paella cooking ! - Rafa and his outstanding assistants made our time learning the secrets of making paella incredible. It was wonderful to be put in the countryside and see the actual rice fields. Rafa is not only a great chef but a good teacher and kind person. The afternoon exceeded our expectations and we made was delicious. This is a well planned hands on class. Javier was a great translator for Rafa.

Authentic, Fun, So yummy - We had the best time with Rafa and Javier. They were so kind and made the experience amazing. From the time of the pick-up, we had a great time and really enjoyed getting to know them and our fellow travelers. The paella was amazing, but the experience made this even more worth it. You are surrounded by mountains, orange trees, and lovely property. We will be back!!!!

Awesome experience - My wife and I went for the Authentic Paella Cooking Class May 10, and and everything exceeded our expectations, from pick up in Valencia to being dropped off again. We started by being offered something to drink, after which we made Sangria before it was on the 1st step of Pealla preparation, when it was over we were served lovely snacks while the Pealla simmered on the fire. Then we started again and had the most fantastic Pealla made, which we ate in the most lovely surroundings.
All in all, a fantastic experience together with some incredibly hospitable people who know how to create just the right setting for a good dining experience.
