An Entertaining and Educational Tour - I took the cooking class with my husband and brother-in-law. It exceeded all expectations. Maria was engaging, knowledgeable, energetic and passionate. She shared so many interesting facts about Spain and about Valencia. We were lucky to travel in the car with her to and from the home where classes were had. The food was excellent and I learned a lot about making paella. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel "part of the family" and we all arrived home so glad we had signed up for this amazing experience. I would recommend this adventure to anyone.

The BEST cooking class - This was hands down the best experience we paid for whilst in Spain. Maria and Roberto are so knowledgeable and friendly, giving the class a super comfortable and lively atmosphere. The location, course, food and wine were all unbelievably beautiful, making for a relaxing and fun day trip. Couldn't recommend this course any more :)

Excellent and delicious experience - This was a great culinary and cultural experience, not to mention delicious. They picked us up at the meeting place in Valencia (Old Town area) right on time, and drove us about 25 minutes out to their farm in the Albufera region (where much of the paella rice is grown). It was a beautiful farm house, well equipped for the group cooking and eating. We got a history of paella, and a hands-on lesson on preparing it. In between we shared wine, tapas, the paella we all cooked (individual pans for each group, sized based on the number in each group). Everything was perfect, and we hated to leave when we were done! Would definitely recommend this experience with Rafa and Maria.

Wonderful Paella-Making (and Eating) Experience! - I booked this activity for my family (we're 4 adults) and it was an awesome experience! We were picked up right on time by Maria (who was proactive in letting us know the day before about the meeting point, etc) and enjoyed a quick drive out to the beautiful farmhouse - she even stopped and asked one of the workers collecting oranges to just give us a few to try. Our group was relatively small (us 4, and then an Intrepid tour group of 5 + their guide, so total 10) - and the lesson setup was perfect. The paella master, Rafa, was super-entertaining - and Maria (who was both our driver/guide and interpreter for Rafa) was also very funny and engaging; also, can't forget "Employee of the Month" Roberto, who was a bit more behind-the-scenes but an important part of the team nonetheless! This great 3-person team really made us feel welcome and went above-and-beyond to give us a great, authentic paella-experience - this is a must-do for anyone visiting Valencia! Believe all the 5-star reviews - this team is the best!

Experience of a Lifetime - If you are in Valencia, you need to book this our. Chefs Raffello, Maria and Roberto are wonderful. The chefs provided interesting history on the art of cooking Paella to help you gain greater appreciation for this culinary delight. Then when it’s time for you to take the chefs cooking spoon they are there guiding you every step of the way. It’s a must-do for sure. We had a wonderful time! Helpful tip: If you are on a Royal Caribbean Cruise your pickup point for this class is the Transmediterranea passenger area. Step 1 - Disembark your RCCL ship Step 2 - Look for the Free Shuttle to the Transmediterrana Passenger area Step 3 - The Authentic Valencia Paella staff will be outside of Transmediterrana passenger area at your pickup time

Wow! Exceptionally fun: Don't Miss this! - My family had the great pleasure of spending a day in March of 2019 learning how to make authentic paella from the entertaining and informative duo of Rafa and Maria, ably supported in the kitchen by Roberto. We felt like we had made new friends while making the best Paella we had to date (we've since duplicated many times at home to the great enjoyment of friends who have never been to Valencia but now feel like they get it). And my daughter Violet is quick to let everyone know the real use of the fork ;-) Can't say enough about the setting also. Beautiful. You really feel like you've connected with the area. Great setting to enjoy Paella. Everyone will enjoy this class. These are wonderful, warm-hearted people you'll want to spend your time with.

Can't believe how good our paella was. - We were picked up at a central location and taken to a beautiful country home. There were 8 of us, but they provided personal service. We cooked, we laughed and we drank wine. What could be better. The chef and interpreter were hysterical. They provided instruction and historical information of paella, in a very humorous way. Wow, wow, wow, very yummy paella! A must do activity!
