Wonderful cruise with great people - What a wonderful cruise. We saw lots of wildlife in beautiful Prince William Sound. The crew was the best---they knew so much about the area and the wildlife and it was obvious they were happy to share it with us. I learned a lot about the Valdez area. It was a drizzly cloudy day but there was plenty of warm indoor seating on the boat. And the crew encouraged us to come up to the wheelhouse and enjoy their view. My husband I spent quite a bit of time up there talking to the crew and asking them questions. Definitely a highlight of our Alaska vaction. They served a nice lunch as well a bagel snack . Would highly recommend this cruise

Only the whales were missing - Excellent cruise with an attentive and skillful captain. We saw a lot of things and luckily the weather was nice. The crew is top notch. The evening meal is very good. Small downside: we didn't see any whales.

Surpassed my expectations - Simply one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in person. A giant chunk of glacier fell off and created a large wave. It was exhilarating. And we saw tons of interesting wildlife on the journey. Stan Stephens company did a great job. Very professional and informative.

The glacier up close - This is an excursion not to be missed. The boat was comfortable and the crew was nice and helpful. The food was good. The glaciers are spectacular. Definitely worth the money and time.

Best ever tour - If I could give this tour a 11 out of 10 I would. Weather of course is key factor and we had good conditions. Crew and going to bridge with captain was great. Bagel and chicken/ rice lunch was very tasty. We managed to see sea lions, sea otters, seals, humpback whale and calf, eagles, puffins, porpoises to name a few. Glacier area bought out sunshine for great photography. I highly recommend this tour over Columbia as you can get within 1/4 mile of base. Fantastic job by all.

Spectacular View of the Meares Glacier!!!!! - We took the Stan Stephens Meares Glacier tour this AM. We loved the boat. It was so big and comfortable for this tour. On the way to the Glacier we were treated to seeing Sea Otters, Seals, Bald Eagles and so much more. The highlight was of course the Glacier!!!!!!! This boat tour exceeded our expectations from the beautiful scenery to all of the personnel on board. The food they served us so good. On our trip back we saw Dolphin and Orca Whales. It rained on us the entire trip but do not let that deter you. The boat cabin is totally dry with big windows.

Outstanding not to be missed! Highlight of our trip to Alaska - Our trip out on Prince William Sound with Stan Stevens.l Cruises was absolutely outstanding. Everything was brilliant from start to finish. The staff on board were exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble for them and the Captain Greg was incredible. His knowledge of the Sound was brilliant, and you could feel his passion and love of this amazing country come through in every story his shared. He made sure our day was one of the most unforgettable experiences we have had In Alaska

Amazing Adventure! - I am so glad this was part of our land tour in Alaska! We saw everything we could want to see while on this tour. We were able to see a pod of Orca's and were able to get pretty close to get some great pictures on them coming up out of the water. We also saw Tufted Puffins, seals and sea lions while on this adventure. The glaciers were also amazing. The staff was great and answered a ton questions that the guests had and kept up comfortable the whole trip. Unfortunately I was feeling a bit of motion sickness while lunch was being served so I wasn't able to eat it, but my husband and the rest of our group said it was really good.

Stan Stephens Glacier Tour - Despite a rainy, foggy day, Stan Stephens Tour of Meares Glacier was wonderful. We saw Orcas, sea otters, sea lions, eagles and of course the glacier. We were lucky enough to catch a small calfing off the glacier just as we arrived. Bagels and chicken dinner aboard the boat were a plus. We travelled with our adult children (Not teens but there were many on board enjoying the day)

Beautiful Glacier - The Glacier was very beautiful. The ship was very comfortable and the food was excellent. The captain was very informative and staff were friendly. Our only disappointment was the amount of time we got at the Glacier itself. Our cameras showed 30 minutes at the Glacier. We’ve gone on several Glacier tours and have had much more time at them than this one. The captain was even talking over them while they were calving about how we needed to leave to see the sea lions on the ice nearby. For us, we would have rather had more time in front of the Glacier, the purpose of our visit, than to leave an actively calving Glacier to see sea lions. For us personally, in our opinion, it was a long day to only get 30 minutes in front of the Glacier. We were actually shocked when he said we were leaving as it felt as if we had just gotten there. Overall, a good tour, just not enough glacier time for us in our opinion.
