Avoid at all costs - I gave one-star because there is no option for zero stars. The selected ground operator is in Pune, the service takes place in Vadodara so so much for local expertise. The meeting point is in an area where tuk-tuks are restricted so mine had to leave me 700m away. I am mobility challenged and it was a nightmare running along broken crowded sidewalks to the meeting place which turned out to be a major traffic circle with a temple in the middle and rows of shops on 4 sides. The instructions only mentioned “Mandvi Circle” with no distinct landmark or house number so I ended up fighting my way around the circle twice but never found the guide and never would have because when I finally got through to the operator, Yo Goa, they gave me the contact for the guide and it turns out he was in Bihar on the other side of India. I then they stopped answering my messages even though they showed as read. I had a limited time in Vadodara and missed this experience I really wanted to have. I then spent 30 minutes on chat with Viator and all they could do was email the operator…so no quick resolution. I question if and how they vet these suppliers because the same operator no-showed for a second tour booked the following day. My time in Vadodara could have potentially been ruined.
