La Paz - Day 1: La Paz - Uyuni (D)

The service begins with a hotel pickup in La Paz, scheduled one hour before the bus leaves, for an overnight journey to Uyuni departing at 8:30 p.m.

The bus provided by TODO TOURISMO COMPANY is chosen for its comfort, featuring semi-reclining seats, an onboard bathroom, English-speaking assistance, and a light dinner.

Day 2: Uyuni- Salt Flats- San Juan (B, L , D )

Schedule:
• 07:30 am Collection from the Bus Station by TODO TURISMO.
• 08:00 Breakfast and opportunity to freshen up in Uyuni.
• 10:30am - Depart from Uyuni to explore the Train Cemetery before heading to the salt flats
• 11am - Brief halt at Colchani to see the salt crafting facility
• 12pm - Enter the Salar to check out waterholes, salt harvesting, and the Playa Blanca Hotel
• 12:30pm - Midday meal amidst the Salar de Uyuni
• 1:30pm - Tour Incahuasi Island and its iconic giant cacti
• 5:30pm - Witness the sunset over Salar de Uyuni with complimentary wine
• Stay overnight in a Salt Hostel (shared rooms)
• Dinner at the Salt Hostel is provided

Day 3: Salt Flats - Laguna Colorada (B,L,D)
• 07:00 am, Morning meal
• Tour of San Juan Village.
• Explore Salar de Chiguana
• Visit Cañapa Lagoon.
• Midday meal at Laguna Hedionda.
• Proceed to Chiarkota and Laguna Honda.
• Sightseeing at the stone tree
• Conclude at Laguna Colorada, observe Andean flamingos and the lagoon’s hues, then head to nearby lodging.
• Night at a Basic Hostel.

Day 4: Laguna Colorada - Uyuni- La Paz
• 04:00 am Breakfast.
• 05:30 am Visit to Sol de Mañana Geysers
• 08:00 am Thermal springs of Polques
• Traverse the Salvador Dali Desert
• 09:00 am Stop at White Lagoon
• 09:30 am Arrival at Green Lagoon, located at the base of Licancabur Volcano.
• Continue to Villamar Village
• Lunch en route.
• 15:30 pm Arrival at Alota village, view llamas and quinoa fields.
• 17:00 Reach Uyuni

After a refreshing shower, you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your return trip to La Paz.

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in La Paz, following which you’ll take a night bus to Uyuni. Upon arrival, we’ll collect you from the bus terminal to kick-start your 3D/2N exploit through the Uyuni Salt Flats and multi-colored lagoons.

Experience the Salar de Uyuni in the comfort of a car, featuring top-notch individual service. Marvel at the Andean landscapes, thriving with local fauna and flora. The company is not responsible for the loss of the Tour due to health reasons or bus loss or itinerary changes due to weather conditions or social problems that may happen unforeseen.
In the rainy season, (December - March) entrance to the island inchuasi is not guaranteed, but if you visit the Salar de Uyuni and its surroundings, this program is subject to changes for this season.

The best tour ever! - Joker expedition was a really good choice for us. They were very well organised, and everything went very smoothly, our guide was the best and told us manny facts about uyuni and atacama desert, he was really helpful one of the best guides we had. The hotels and food were great, and drivers were really good as well, nothing bad to say. Amazing experience!

Get closer to the sun but don’t forget toilet paper. - This tour is a must but there are somethings you have to know before you go. Listed below are some of them. 1. Do not do this tour right off the plane or bus. The altitude is no joke. Give yourself a few days in it to acclimate. 2. If you don’t like rustic conditions this is not for you. The sleeping arrangements are basic and you will go one night without a shower. Which the tour operators won’t tell you. Also bring a towel and extra toilet paper. 3. The sights are simply spectacular! One of the most unique environments on the planet. Our tour guide Beymare was excellent! Knew all the ins and out of the area and we were often first to see the sights. 4. Getting here is not easy. An overnight bus ride is what it takes but the buses are extremely comfortable. But the bathrooms have a strict no poop policy on board. Eat lightly. 5. The sun is no joke. Sunscreen if you don’t like a tan or being burned. 6. It is remote so while I suggest packing as light as you can make sure you have some medicines on you. 7. The car is a Toyota Land Cruiser and the tour outfits will pack them. The backseat is not comfortable at all. We rotated through to be fair to everyone but your knees and back will be sore. Pro tip- if you’re going to Chile at the end and not back to Uni, choose to sit in the back the 3rd day. 8. Most bathrooms you have to pay for so bring change. The last place we stayed at had nice rooms but public toilets that were disgusting with poop and vomit, at least in the men’s bathroom. The private rooms have bathrooms but for some reason they won’t let you use them. I imagine there is a fee. My suggestion is carry a metal credit card or small knife. You can’t take the hint. 9. In spite of all of this you have to see this area. The guide makes it breaks this tour and it seems all of them know what to do. So you will be good to go.

An unforgettable experience - Our visit to South America was wonderful, but this was the most wonderful place on our visit, the Uyuni salt flat. We planned a complete visit to the salt flats, with a reliable company Joker Expedition, and we do not regret having chosen it. We had a friendly guide, who helped us with the funny photos and told us all the history of this beautiful place. The Uyuni salt flat is very beautiful, we slept in a salt hotel, we had a private car and the food on the tour is very tasty. My travel friend was a bit sick with altitude sickness, but this was also fixed by Joker. They are very professional in their work.

Joker Expeditions was great! - The tour was incredible and well organised. It was a very memorable experience, beautiful landscapes, good outdoor lunches, great tour guides. Special mention to Jose, the manager of Joker expeditions, who was incredibly helpful. We lost our luggages in La Paz and they managed to get it back for us at 4am while we were touring in Uyuni. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience with nice extra touches - I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the Salt Flats. There are hundreds of companies which offer tours but we were the only group on that day with a jeep which could actually cross the flats in the wet season, so we got some incredible photos and a stunning sunset. This tour is more expensive than some but included first class bus travel, a hotel room to shower in before and after the trip in Uyuni and a glass (or two!) of wine both evenings. The guide was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get the best photos for us. I got unwell during the trip and they took good care of me until I got back to Uyuni. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this company.

Uyunni salt lake - It was a unique experience and beautiful scenery. We were not rushed and had adequate time for relaxation. The restaurants for lunch were very good and very helpful and friendly guides and driver . At the second night stay , it was cold and windy, it would have been nice to have some hot water for freshening and heater in the rooms . Last day we returned to hotel and were dropped in bus station but no dinner was provided and there were no restaurants nearby or food available and we went hungry. The fun trick pictures in uyunni salt lake were a huge hit and we enjoyed doing them
