Colchani - This town, situated on the edge of the Salar, thrives on salt extraction, quinoa royal agriculture, salt crafts, and tourism. It is a must-stop on the way to the Majestic Salar de Uyuni. Isla Incahuasi - (Unavailable during the rainy season) Incahuasi Island is home to giant cacti reaching up to 10 meters high. It is the largest of the islets in the center of the Uyuni salt flat. The island features a tourist reception center managed by the commonwealth of Llica and Tahua municipalities. Visitors can pay an optional entrance fee of 30 Bs. to access a well-marked trail offering stunning views of the salt flat, cobalt blue sky, and numerous cacti.
