Educational and enjoyable - Rafael was informative and educational during the tour. His explanation added details about the sights of the Maya ruins. I truly enjoyed the tour.

Incredible time and incredible tour guide! - Denny was an absolutely incredible tour guide... and photographer! He was so knowledgable, funny, and happy to answer all of our questions. We truly had the best time and learned so much from him!

Excellent tour - This was an excellent and very informative tour. Our guide (Romeo if my memory is correct) was so knowledgeable and interesting. Transportation was top nutch, dinner was great and the pace of the tour was very good despite being very busy (a lot of walking). I took three tours with this company in February 2024 and there were all good but different in style. Two of them was excellent and very informative and the third one was really good but more fun than informative. I guess it depends on the style of the guide. Th company should note whether it will be an "informative" tour or an "entertainment" tour to manage expectations. But for the one I did in Uxmal and Kabah, I only have good things to say about it and our guide. It was just superb.

No nonsense spectacular day! - Our tour guide was Pedro and he included interesting remarks and knowledgeable facts during each segment of this tour. Even mixing in some humor from time to time! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and recommend it for anyone with a curiosity about Mayan civilizations.

Great experience - The tour covered all the historical places and pedro as the team leader was great with sharing all the history of the places. Hiwever, it would be great if the tour started sooner as we could skip the hot time and have lunch earlier.

Sites are great. Tour guide not so much. - Uxmal is amazing and totally worth going. Uxmal is far more expansive than Chichen Itza and has zero vendors inside making for a much more pleasant experience. The Chocolate History museum was likewise amazing. This is a bilingual tour. We had a small group, just my family and one other family. The other family was spanish speaking only. I speak enough Spanish to know that my family was getting a slightly longer winded explanation of things from the guide than the spanish speakers. The guide zipped us through Uxmal at a ridiculous pace and complained that the lazy americans were holding up the tour to the spanish speakers. Additionally, we went through the park so fast we had no time to review the informative signs next to most of the individual archeological sites/edifices, so I took pictures of them as we zipped past. I later found that they flatly contradicted some of the things the guide told us about the sites. The lunch was pleasant enough but didn't feel authentic enough to bother being included on the tour and I wish that some of these tours would just say to bring your own lunch. Bottom line: If I went to this region again in the future I would see these two sites on my own without the guide.

Good destinations, so-so tour - We enjoyed the tour, but it came off as a poor cousin to the Guias Yucatan tour we took a couple of days earlier. Claudia was friendly but struggled with English, and the van in which we traveled had seen better days. It wasn't made clear in advance that the cooler in the van was empty and that we needed to provide our own water. Uxmal, Kabah and the Choco-story were all enjoyable destinations, though, and lunch was surprisingly good.

Could do it on my own - Took the tour with my mother. Somewhat underwhelming as far as logistics. Very basic explanations and some parts not accessible for an elderly person with mobility issues. The ruins are amazing and would visit on my own without an organized group. Lunch was average.

Decent tour of Uxmal and Kabah. Choco-story was fun too - It was a good tour overall and schedule was satisfactory for seeing the sites of Uxmal, Kabah, and the Choco-story. I thought Uxmal was better than Chichen Itzá — fewer crowds, lots of structures. Only negatives were that the guide seemed to struggle with English compared to other tours we’ve had. She tried hard and was nice. Still, that was a small negative. Also, the lunch was kind of mediocre and served a little bit late in the day. Overall: I’d take the tour again because it goes to these sites and was efficient overall. Worth doing.

Air conditioned van - The air conditioned car was very nice and the driver was courteous. It was a nice tour just nothing particularly special. I wish I had booked directly with the tour company it would have been less expensive and then the money spent for the experience received would have matched better.
